I shuttled to the airport with some of the others around noon.  My flight wasn't until 4:30, but I was out of my room, people were clearing out rapidly, so, what the heck, I have a book, so off I go.  I, again, had one too many carry-ons, so I tried, and I tried to shove my purse somewhere.  They ended up accepting it with 3/4 of it hanging out of a front pocket on my laptop bag.  What a joke.  I read and drank latte for a while.  Read some more.  Tried to get on my laptop but found they wanted $$$$ to use their wireless.  NOT!!!!  Back to the book.  Finished it.  Bought another.  James Pat

Yesterday was the best day!  I went with a bunch of other people into the city and got educated all about gangs and how to buy drugs.  Then we went to eat at Ed's something or other where the rule of the day is to be rude to the customers.  Well, the 3rd time I got called grandma I almost punched him out.  I was gonna give him the old thump to the chest, New York style, but, he apologized, soooooo, he lived.

Oh man, what a party!  As far as I can tell, everyone is pretty much behaving themselves.  Nice.  I played WoW with the big boys for a good part of the afternoon yesterday.  I just can't keep up!  They are fast, hit hard and quick, and I'm still standing there saying "where are you guys?"  Then we went and grabbed something to eat and a beer (ya, I am even drinking beer, a little....) and kinda split up to do our own thing.  Mine?  People watching and mingling.  I got the bartender to open my bottle of wine....he's sooooo nice. 

Oh man, what a party!  As far as I can tell, everyone is pretty much behaving themselves.  Nice.  I played WoW with the big boys for a good part of the afternoon yesterday.  I just can't keep up!  They are fast, hit hard and quick, and I'm still standing there saying "where are you guys?"  Then we went and grabbed something to eat and a beer (ya, I am even drinking beer, a little....) and kinda split up to do our own thing.  Mine?  People watching and mingling.  I got the bartender to open my bottle of wine....he's sooooo nice. 

Well, I know I am the first one up this morning.  Such is life!  It gives me time to get it together and make myself beautiful.    Thursday night pre-lan party was all I expected it to be.  I have already met soooo many people.  JeepChick, doodi, smoke, dsmooth, twistedcaboose, MikeJames, and the list goes on and on.  I have "remet" LB, em and god knows who else.  Soooo good!  And, since hugs are free, I also can't count the number of hugs I have given and received.  mmmmm  Some are better than others.  Hey, don't be shy

I am trying to pack.  Ya, I know, I started yesterday.  But, all the equipment takes up so much room!  I do NOT want to take an extra bag.  But, I can't seem to get the console, the games, the controllers, and all the wires in my carry-on.  Oh, that's not true.  They fit.  I just can't bring any clothes.  Or stuff that makes me look and smell good.  ack.....
