We've all experienced grief. We've all felt those intense rolling waves of emotion. But, do we all experience the same feelings each time we lose a loved one?

We've all experienced grief. We've all felt those intense rolling waves of emotion. But, do we all experience the same feelings each time we lose a loved one?

What Are The Stages of Grief?

Many people have tried to explain what grief is; some have even identified certain stages of grief.

I have often said it's the little things that make us happy.  Big things tend to boggle the mind and weigh us down, but those surprising little things can turn that all around when you are having a bad time.

Some little things that have made me happy, or made me smile, lately:

1.  Playing Magic allll evening, losing game after game, and then absolutely crushing a clannie opponent on my last game.  The little thing?  His deck had never been beaten!  That made my day!  Good Game!

I feel very mixed up lately.  My anxiety/stress level has been up cuz of things I have had to deal with.  Ya know, real life....  But, on the other hand, good stuff happens, too!  I got a great hair cut today!  The Chi Lan is only a month away.  My boobs are getting bigger!  Ya!  Go figure...  Well, ya know, it's the little things that make us happy.

I feel very mixed up lately.  My anxiety/stress level has been up cuz of things I have had to deal with.  Ya know, real life....  But, on the other hand, good stuff happens, too!  I got a great hair cut today!  The Chi Lan is only a month away.  My boobs are getting bigger!  Ya!  Go figure...  Well, ya know, it's the little things that make us happy.

Sigh....  What a day.  Today we had 70+ patients to treat.  Normal is 40-45.  Because of the holiday, July 4, we did double duty today.  And, because of that, people had to wait to get treated.  I had a female patient who is not well liked cuz she is rude and nasty to the nurses.  She has a chip on her shoulder and thinks the world revolves around her.  In the infusion area, we are totally unaware of how long someone is waiting.  Sometimes they see the doctor first, so they are there very early.  Then they come up to infusion clinic and perhaps have to wait some more.  But, we don't know an

I have been bad.  I knew hubby was sick, but he feels soooo much better.  I kept it to myself.  I didn't remind him.  I wondered if there would be a card on the table for me this morning.  No.  Well, he took the little guy out and they had lunch and picked up a few things at the store.  Maybe?  Did he remember?  NOT!!!  He is having distinct problems with memory, energy, even his eyesight.  Still sleeping at least a couple hours a day and up to 10-12 hrs at night.  He just came in from trying to mow some lawn.  Came dragging up the stairs and told me he was bad cuz he had forgotten our anni
