Is it really June already?  Wow!  That means the Chi Lan is only 2 months away.  I am already getting antsy.  Need more road trip.  Or.......something. 

I woke up at around 5:00 this morning and told myself, not today, so I managed to go back to sleep.  Last night I got a call that I was not needed at work today cuz we were overstaffed.  Boooo.  Doesn't happen often, but it does.  So, maybe that is what started it?  Or, maybe it is years and years of listening to "that wouldn't have happened if you....." or "this happened cuz you never....." or "you should have done <whatever> so .......".  I call them snipes.  Whatever.    Now the dream...

What is wrong with my hands?  Ack!  I noticed my palms peeling a few days ago.  Sorta like a sunburn would.  They don't hurt or itch or anything, just peeling.  It could be hand & foot syndrome....Not!  I would have to be taking chemo, which I don't!  I only administer it.  Ahhhh, latex sensitivity?  Could be.  Some nurses after years of latex glove exposure get sensitive, some actually get allergic.  Hmmmm.  If it's true, I guess I will have to retire!  Right........

I said I would, and I did!  Wow, proud of myself!  I booked a flight, non-stop, mind you! and called to reserve a room for 3 nights.  Yes, i will be there on Thursday.  Actually, kinda early.  I can help meet and greet!!!  Woohoo!  I also managed to get a sorta late flight on Sunday, so I don't have to be up at the crack of dawn.  Well, ya know I paid a little more for the "ideal" flights, but who cares?  Non-stop at the right times?  That rocks!

The rooster let me sleep in today!  That is, if you call 6:45 sleeping in...  For me, it is, anyways.  So, he gets to live another day!

We had some bad storms last night.  There were some tornado warnings close by, but I just went to bed and hoped I was still here in the morning.  I am.  It's going to be a lovely day, too!  w00t!  It's the first day of the rest of my life!
