In an attempt to apologize to MJ for my last blog, this one is all pictures!

Hey, my first ever NSFW blog! Sorry there's no boobies, but the material is a little on the risque' side so I figured I'd play it safe. Props to my buddy Dan for sending me these.

My First Book series, real world style:

And that means...vacation time resets!!  WOOT!

I need a day off.  I know we've had some long weekends with the holidays, but thats not quite the same I don't think.  Its probably psychological, but I think days off when you're supposed to be at work are more relaxing.  One nice thing about the company I work for is they start you off with 3 weeks vacation and 2 floating holidays.  Nothing to complain about there, thats for sure.

So I'm still waiting to hear about the 3rd shift position.  I talked to the manager this past week and he said he has 2 more candidates HR found him he has to interview, but he still wants me in there and he has the final say.  So unless one of these guys blows him away, I guess the ball will start rolling.  There's no hurry on it anyway, since I can't go til some time in February when this woman comes back from maternity leave.  And if it so happens one of these candidates actually is good and does get the job, then thats ok too since its best for the facility.

We had a holiday lunch brought in for us yesterday by the temp agencies we do business with.  This happens from time to time, usually they have Brown's chicken and beef catered.  Free lunch, good stuff.

So yesterday they set the food up and we go out and line up, buffet style.  Aside from chicken and potato salad and rice, there was a big crockpot type thing that looked like it might contain Italian beef.  My one buddy was in front of me and dipped the spoon in, trolling for beef.  He pulled it out of the gravy and had a spoonful of...beans?

According to my window we might've gotten a couple inches of snow last night.  According to the weather bureau some places around here may have gotten as much as 8 inches.  So a few minutes after I wake up I go in the kitchen to make my son breakfast and he comes out to me and says he's got his mom on his cell and she wants to talk to me.
