A few months back I decided I was going to stick with the bass playing so I needed to upgrade my bass, at least a little.  I didn't have a ton of cash but figured I would take a peek at Guitar Center and see what I could come up with.  I spent about 3 hours there checking out different basses and finally settled on this:

If someone knows what this is, please tell me.  I'm going to warn you before you click play though...its NSFW, and you might not want to watch while eating.  Its a music video, and its horrifying.  Its kinda funny if you just listen and not watch, but you should watch to get the full effect.

Well, apartment.  But anyway.

It actually came Tuesday but I didn't check my mail until yesterday morning so I didn't see it til then.  Got home last night, fired it up, and was pretty impressed.

You get a menu on your computer that has the keypad and all the buttons to immediately access voice mail or create/access an address book.  It also comes with 911 service, which is good.  You can also use your computer headset for calls which is nice.

I made some calls last night (long distance) and the call quality was like that of a regular landline.  So far so good.
