Last week before going to see my Grandma, Dean and I stopped to get some flowers for her. I picked out some yellow, happy looking flowers. He urged me to get fillers for a winter arrangement that aren't even flowers because he thought they were cool. I ignored him.

Today I asked him to stop by the grocery to get breadsticks to accompany the lasagna. I got "flowers". I think they're like a live Viva Pinata "weed bomb."

We received a Christmas card from Dean's mom yesterday. It read:

"I thought that we could all get together, but I guess not. See ya both next time."

I just finished up the 6 hour task of getting my student loans consolidated to avoid making 8 different payments a month. Talk about a fucking task that you need to be educated to figure out. It probably wouldn't have been so bad had I not waited 8 days until my grace period ended. I totally miscalculated the ability of the government to figure out something in private-sector time. Apparently they need 30-45 days. Bastards. This whole task would probably be relatively easy if my Stafford loan lenders had not all dropped out of the Federal Family Education Loan program.
