I spent a few hours last night trying to get into Fallout 3. Rage ensued.

I have no ammo. My weapons are literally falling apart. I have no money. I think I spread my skills out too thin rather than focusing. I pick up random stuff and I can't tell if it's useful or crap. Should I sell these converters, cigarettes, glue, cameras, etc? Or should I horde them?  (Not that Moira even has ammo to sell me). And damnit, I refuse to read a 300-page strategy guide before I play a game.

4th day off and I'm paralyzed by my leisure options. Should I play Fallout 3? Finally get back to finishing Dead Space? Finish the bastard Call of Duty: World at War? Watch a movie? Read a book?

Too many choices. The house is clean and I'm bored...Cold dark weather is not helping either.

I don't want to admit it, but maybe it's time to get back to work?

My hypothesis is that MS decided that 12 million people updating virtually concurrently would kind of suck...So any semblence to a phased approach was welcome. But that's just me. Maybe they are just being nice.
