TV networks buying thousands of football game tickets to avoid a blackout.

People making shitty choices on mortgages only to be bailed out when their mortgage doubles.

Demands to have the government intervene into gas prices.

Ideas to create an agency that would buy garbage debt.

WTF?

Given enough time we'll all be pansies, ignorant, dishonest or some combination of the three.

When I started blogging again, I thought I finally figured out the formula – “entertaining but lacking depth”. I’m entertained, you’re entertained (hopefully), and nobody (and by nobody, I mean me) gets their interwebz feelings hurt.
I’m going to break that – just this one time. Maybe. Sidebar – am I being presumptuous that my blog will have depth? Probably, but whatever.

So the Republican National Convention doesn't officially start until next week in St. Paul. But the hoopla has been going strong all week already. I work in the building in Minneapolis right next to the hotel that all the organizers are staying in and the parking ramp across the street has been surrounded by about 30 police cars for a week.

I'm so flippin excited for Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise to release next week. I remember back when the 360 was released and I heard about the original I just knew it was game that I had to have and I would love.

The original Viva Pinata was released on the same day that Gears of War was released and I'm not going to lie - GoW sat in it's wrapper for a solid month (first achievement 12/9).

Turns out I've been driving with a suspended license since September of 2007. woops!

Timeline of ass-fuckery due to dumb-ass mistake:

May 2007 - I pay my tabs online - $104

Early June 2007 - I receive my tabs in the mail, shove the envelope in my purse so that I remember to put them on my license plate.
