I only came into work today because I have lunch plans with one of my BFFs that works downtown as well. We're sad that we won't be able to have our weekly lunch plans now that I'm going to be working across town starting in June. I'm really excited about starting my new job though. And even more excited to get double-paid for 3 months - booyah! It will definitely have been worth it to stick around this awful place and wait it out to collect severance. But in the meantime, I have this week and the next two to hang out with the skeleton crew with almost no work to do.

I got a really good job offer this week at the company I had been interviewing with over the last few months. And, I might have another offer in the same company from my boss that left here. I'll find out today if he has the position approved or not. If so, I will basically choose which offer I want to accept - both are awesome opportunities. If it comes down to a choice, it won't be easy. I feel pretty lucky right now (and with 22 days to spare!) Woot! =)

I have 21 working days left at this place. My job is about 95% transitioned over to a new person. I'm bored.

I no longer use an alarm clock. I just wake up when I wake up and go to work.

I no longer follow the dress code. I wear jeans on most days. I wore a Left4Dead t-shirt last week. And since I don't have enough jeans for 5 days, I sometimes wear the same ones twice in one week (not consecutive days of course).

I spend too much time on 2old2play. It's only a matter of time before I start picking fights in the forums.

I don't actually want him to go with me, because he would just heavily sigh and roll his eyes every 15-20 minutes which would annoy me. But when you're a bad-ass wife you have to threaten that shit sometimes so the husband is periodically reminded that he's living the sweet life with you. This spurred yet another discussion on Sarah Jessica Parker. Dean hates her. Dean's logic goes something like this...
