    Usually the summer is notoriously slow for games, but this year is a little different, thanks to the games that didn't want to compete against other big name titles or Exclusive Beta or Demos out now.  I've bought a ton and played quite a few, just to get a taste.  Whether you cared to know or not, here's my thoughts on those games demos and Betas.

   So I'm watching TV with my wife the other night and a commercial for the "Shake Weight" comes on.  Don't know if you have seen the original commercial, but this commercial killed me.  My wife said "your going to write a blog about this aren't you"?  She then said "Please leave me out of it".  Which I agreed to, because I'm nice like that.    Then my blog changed, when I was searching the video on youtube and found this.  This video is NSFW, but hilarious!!!!

OK, don't know if my wife is smoking crack on the side or what, but last night she brought up that she thought we should go on vacation this summer. We looked at several destinations, Williamsburg, VA, Portland, ME, San Francisco, CA, and Chicago. We want to go somewhere interesting for the kids. Last September we did Boston to see the Rays play the Red Sox, plus all the great historic stuff in Boston that my 9 year old really digs (He loves the Revolutionary War).

Coming into the summer, my wife is out of school for the summer and home with the kids.  Last night out of nowhere she says she would like me to look into buying a 3D TV!!!!  What?!?!?  She had to repeat herself, because she usually just flows with whatever tech I buy her or install in the house.  Now I'm not one to turn down a new tech toy and our TV' while still in great condition is about 5 years old.

    This holiday season, a lot of people are looking forward to Halo: Reach or the new Call of Duty.  I'm sure those will be great games and I'll be getting both.  What I'm looking forward to are the absolutely bizarre messages I will be receiving over Xbox Live due to Fable III.  I know a lot of RPG purist hate the Fable series, but I've never been a huge RPG fan.  I did really enjoy Mass Effect 2, but I feel both Fable and Mass Effect has a little more action to them than the traditional Final Fantasy type games.
