CMA was kind enough to take submissions for a highlight package of Halo 3 MML plays. By virtue of nobody sending in clips, I made the cut!

He did a very good job with it, and I hope that more people send in clips, because this just adds to the rich Halo 3 community that is at 2o2p.

Over the weekend, I finally completed the Braid full game speed run. If you haven’t played Braid, you have to. It is truly one of the gems of this generation. The speed run achievement has you completing the full game in less than 45 minutes. The first time through, I got 57 minutes. This is where I started to get obsessed. I actually practiced certain levels that were giving me troubles and tried again. I then managed 46:03. This just pissed me off. See, you can’t stop playing once you start.

If any of you missed it, Fringe premiered this week. After watching the trailer in the spring, I thought this was going to be another gem in J.J. Abrams huge wresting belt (cue celebratory douchebag hand gesture), but I was left wanting something different. The show started well enough: a plane-load of people, infected with some sort of skin-melting herpes. Government agencies show up, yada yada; all is well and good. Then the romantic angle starts with our protagonist trying to save her lover’s life my dropping acid and jumping into a vat of water. I say, “Who gives a shit”.

I find more and more, that crime in Toronto is getting worse. Not that the frequency is more, but the severety of the crimes is escalating. Yesterday afternoon, a man was shot dead in a gold lexus, "on 22's", and dumped out of the car at speed on the highway. WTF. This is like in a movie. What's worse is that this was less than 6km from my house. Police dont know yet whether this is gang-related, but I have already drawn my conclusions.
