theres also paradox and a couple of his friends......we were running the volvo 850 the other nite....hella fun and drives on rails its a bonus freebie from steam or for downloading volvo the game, cant remember? but always open for suggestions!
I wouldn't mind sticking with the base cars/tracks to get us started. Then we can move onto other cars and tracks as we go. I would really love to have a league that is a dedicated thing that runs once a week or every other week, like the guys at GBR are doing with the V8 supercars.
I've really gotten the bug again (only been simracing since January 2012) after moving into the new house, and I was racing at BRNO last night in the wtcc cars. I started in 24th, made it all the way to 1st only to have to pit on the last lap because I was running out of gas and finished 10th. The AI was only set at like 92% which I still struggle with, but about halfway through the race I was really hitting my apexes and breaking points much better. I would really enjoy doing something like this with you guys.
My only other issue is it seems most of the interested parties are over in the UK and me being in Texas will cause me a problem with the race times. Just hope we can all agree on something soon. Looking forward to racing with you guys.
So if my world times zones are on point Texas is 1hr behind me east coast is 2 hrs and UK is 7 hrs ahead....so for everyone to participate it would have to be an early afternoon time.....as for days guys will have to post there availability.
As for a series I think just running 06, 07 wtcc or minis to start till we getting comfortable with what addons everyone has.
Due to family and a 4x4 midnite work sched mid days work the best for me 11-3pm
Friday or Saturdays are the only mid days I have available. I'll be hit or miss depending if I have something going on. So don't schedule around me, but if timing works, I'll try to get in on it.
best times for me would be any weeknight, I would never be able to do anything during the week in the afternoon. I don't get home from work until at least 5:30 central time.
What about sat or sun 11 am or 12 gmt cdn? The only other way I could host at night is if I based it around my 4x4 work sched. Which would change the race night every 4 weeks and might interfere with other series .....unless I land a 4x3 sched for the winter with set days off ...ill find out in the next few weeks when we bid...but for now mid day weeekends seems to be the best option to get the most involved ?

Sounds good to me bud. will be good to race with fellow ex forza drivers again. Just to let you know I'm still slow so will see you when you lap me lol.

Even if your slow you should beat me.
I have raced in 7 Organised events and to date I have not completed one
To fast to quick. I need to slow it down a little and finish.
If I have figured this out right, 11 am GMT is 5 am for me and I can tell you right now, there is no way I will be up that early on a Saturday or a Sunday Hopefully we can get some more North Americans in this group so we can race at a decent time.
Dude it's nearly all Yanks here, Kurupt works nights I think, that is why he slots in with our times...Time zones are the curse of this site, as it is American in origin the majority of members are from that side of the pond. Church is looking at setting up a server and once he has done that if, he does we will try to set up something that works for both sides of the pond. In the mean time look out for R2P Races with either GBR or Dirt Tuned Racing drivers involved.
No worries like I said on some thread, this is a new forum and made up of a few 2O4F members, GBR guys and a handfull of us in both. It will take a while to build the kind of membership we need to cover everyones needs, in fact it was never the plan to offer series this early in our development...but hey if it can be done, why not.
Neverender iam in Canada 11am is noon your time, helios I believe is in Seattle his time would be 10am and for the the UK guys it would be 6pm hopefully that clears up the time zone thingy :)
Fri are out for me for a while iam partaking in minis, and wtcc 06 races @race2play till Jan.....season 26 is starting in Oct
Anyone looking for an awesome mod check this one out!

I really don't know what the correct name of my time zone all I know is it mountain time Canada lol
I also posted an article I came across at virtualr.net regarding the possible death of modding in the next gen of upcoming sim titles but I have no idea where it got posted?
It said it was posted but didn't have permission to access it?
So ya if anyone comes across it let me know so I can follow it lol
I will also post the mini tune this afternoon after I install my ssd and make a few tweaks and do a mock run....best I've.gotten so far is a 1.29.990 not sure how that will do against the aliens, I can't get a scouting report for this race
Cheers
I was browsing amongst my favorite modding sites this morning and came across which i think is the mother of mods for this game just released today !
The full on, every car, paint racer etc. BTCC 2007-2011 i tested a few cars and all i can say is its awesome! must have for BTCC fans. Eye candy, force feedback and modeling are tops
this mod could make for a top notch seasonal series for sure :)
its a pretty big mod (500mb) for those concerned with monthly data about 500mb.....Knight ill add it to your download disk if your nice :)

now if they could just come out with an mx-5 mod this game will become complete
Just tried this mod out. Its a good one thats worth the download. Let me know if/when you do a series with this mod, I'd be interested in joining you guys.
Its a very good mod! The sound is one of the best ive come across and every car feels different and has its own personality. In car graphics are some of the best I've seen for an aged sim. Only thing that surprised me was this mod crew created a Ford rs for the hatchback mod and released a Ford before this mod yet they choose to use Volvo instead of Ford? Yet they went out of there way to add 5 other car Mods to this mod....there also working on a reworked hi res track pack for all the seasons :)
Any mid 90's BTCC mods out there you're aware of that are worth it? Found one for rFactor...it's ok, modeling is very basic (not polished like V8SC or PCC2007) and sound is pretty much on the same level. Tolerable, but nothing to get excited about past being a TC mod from the era I was looking for.
Ive come across 2 mid 90's btcc style Mods 1 was a 98 south African touring car series very similar to the btcc style and I saw another one but I haven't tested yet

I might be interested in running a weekly with you guys also, But like Neverender, I'm also in Texas, So time frame would be the deciding answer.
What time zone are you in? Mountain?
Emcee runs the DiRT 3 races on Sunday @ 1pm Pacific, 3pm for me, and we have a half and half of U.S. and E.U.
So that is a good time frame. But as you can see, Sundays are out @ that time for me.

Around midday gmt weekends is perfect for me. Church...7 starts 7 dnf's? damn dude you need to stop trying so hard.

I think his GMT CDN is actually Central time zone, not the GMT you or me think of.
kurupt, is GMT CDN = GMT -6?

Ok, I will keep an eye on all of this. Thanks for the info.

There is two GMT's? Damn you learn something new every day
It's in the main part of our forum not in a sticky...you posted it three times so I deleted two of them
That is wierd because I can...
