Hey guys. Sorry I haven't been posting. I was working on a project. I built myself a sim rig. Posted up a photo in the "show us your sim racing rig" thread. It's real basic. The planning took longer than the actual build. It's working out really well. Anyway...
had some practice races the Saturday and the feedback was helpful. As I suspected, many of the cars are competitive with one another but some of them need some real help. With so many cars it gets crazy trying to account for all of the variables involved in the series. If anyone who ran in that practice or tried out the tunes has any more feedback feel free to throw it out there. The help is greatly appreciated. Here is my assessment so far:
M3 - good, would need tweaking to suit each drivers particular car
190E - same
Cosworth RS500 - same
Volvo - needs work, tail happy
Audi - slower than the others, weird handling, heavy car
Alfa - still needs wworking
I will resume work on the cars on Thursday. Took a break for a couple of days. I was loosing track of what I was working on so I just needed to reboot.
Once again, thanks guys. The paints look amazing and I'm glad to see the excitement..
Snappy, I have built and driven all of these cars with the tunes available on your SF last week. I concur in your comments. The Volvo definitely needs work, its way too tail happy. Also, I really liked the Alfa as is, it might be my favorite among all of the cars.
Yes Teme. Guys there is a new build/tune for the Audi Sport Quattro on my SF. I went back to RWD. Car feels faster and therefor able to keep up with the others. Let me know what you think.

Sounds great Snappy. I agree, RWD is probably what that car needed. I will pick it up tonight and test it out.
Quick test @ Alps yesterday: Audi was 2sec slower than M3 or Cossie, Alfa in the middle.
EDIT Testing @ Infineon IRL: Audi, M3, RS500 and E190 all within 0,15sec, Alfa a bit slower and V8-monster way slower!
This was the 92' DTM Mercedes entry by AMG #5 was Ellen Lohr (I think she is still the only woman to ever win a round of the DTM) and #6 was Keke Rosberg
Sorry I've been so quiet about this lately. Lets shoot for a start to the series on Saturday February 9th. 3:00 pm EST. The fiirst track will be Hockenheim GP, 20 laps. I'll post the rest of the schedule very soon.
JD, the 190E tune is on my SF.
Guys, if you practice would you be please post your times here. Thanks.
This at 8:00 pm GMT?
I should make it but can someone put a car up in the Euro garage I can jump in as I wont have the time to build one.
Cheers
My feeble effort.
Not really a replica though.
Look good these cars
Great looking Mercedes! Also some good looking Cossies and Beemers!

Hey Snappy
I had a quick try of your Alfa tune and stuck a 2:07 flat lap after 3 laps at Cat gp track. A very nice balanced tune.
im in dependent on rl comitments

Anyone want to run some tests on Sturday? 3pm Eastern.
If I'm home, I'll join you.
I noticed that you're usually on when I am. Going to start sending you invites regularly. And the occasional car as well. Cool?
That should work for me buddy.
Since there doesn't seem to be much love for the Mustang.....I'll be rocking the Dick Johnson special.
Awesome paint job fella :-)
I'll give it a shot, but I need one of the builds, but need to be able to tune it myself.
Snappy if I haven't added you yet I will so I can get the build up from you.
Good chance Parcells will be on Snappy. I have all your original builds....if there any updates you think I should have send them over.
Sorry I was a no show fellas. Something came up at home. Sorry for any inconvenience I may have caused in your RL's.
I have a replica paint almost done that ill share with whoever wants it. It is a Merc E190 Evo2 from the 92' season.

Hello,
was offline some days. When will we start with this series? Qualification? Sign up? Is there a tune for my Merc 190 E out there?
