Race 1 was a disaster. My own doing, but a disaster nonetheless. Dropping the rear tire off in the high speed T2 ended my race. Went into the wall HEAVY w/ the back of the car, tearing off the wing and wrecking the suspension. Limped around to the pits and called it.
Race 2 was much improved.....until I dropped 2 wheels in the grass under braking on the backstraight when I glanced up at the mirror to see where Boza was. Avoided hitting anything, but lost a lot of ground. After a lap or 2 Boza got bored and decided to slowup a bit and make a race of it. And what a race it was! My pass for the lead was actually accidental, I popped out from behind to see the corner, because I felt like my braking point was coming up. "Oh shit, I'm late on the brakes!" Somehow.....still trying to figure out how, I kept from locking up, kept it straight, got it slowed up in time, and covered against an over/under move by Boza. I couldn't do that again if my life depended on it. Great race Boza!
Race 1 was not so good because of lack of practice and needed to tweak the set up still a bit more , still did have a good start but lost lots of places of my poor set up. Race 2 again a very good start but made a few mistakes and lost a lot of places again, this is I think lack of practice, but hope next race to do better. Still had a good time on the track and my festival card is the bomb, never see this much eye candy, awesome!
Glad u had fun Paul we had a few good battles....I was in the same boat as u the only laps I turned prior to the race was we're the few I got in practice before the race, and the ballast didn't help. A little less for next race should help out .....did u do a new computer build? It looks pretty impressive!
yes Kurupt i just build a new computer and i am very happy with it , I am waiting for my sim rig to arrive begin Juli so can really set up my men cave a GT Omega PRO Supreme rig with triple 24 inch screens and a button box from DS.
My wive has put me upstairs in my own play room hahaha awsome !
Next track i realy need to study never drive there before , so need to do some practice . cheers mates !!!!!
