Silverstone is technical and both the above would help a lot not having to figure out lines for every corner from scratch.

After many training rounds on all announced official BTCC tracks, tonite the competitors for the season II are meeting in Silverstone. The big shakedown, one week before the start of the season, will be a great show for fans, sponsors and racers.
BTCC Series Director ChurchPro said during a press conference yesterday evening: “The record entry list is a great validation of our new technical regulations and real testament to the continued success, growth and stability of the BTCC / 2O4F. May be we have to open another room for the BTCC 2014 to give all racers, who want to join one of the most competitive series from 2O4F a chance.”
Media Coverage
This time normally won’t be a media coverage in form of a livestream, because there’s no free spot for making videos. Hopefully there will be short clips from all races, if the racers will save the replays.
Dunlop Tyres
The Goodyear Dunlop group begins its second year of title sponsorship and official tyre supplier to the BTCC. Dunlop is also celebrating its own 125-year anniversary in 2013. Hopefully all cars will wear the Dunlop logo.
Jack Sears Trophy
This time the BTCC will present a special cup to the winner of room B. The trophy is named after racing legend Jack Sears who won the inaugural BTCC title in 1958, before adding a second crown 50 years ago in 1963.
The next BTCC champion?
With the season opener just around the corner, it’s almost time for the talking to stop and the racing to start. With many different marques and models making up the record grid, this is looking like the most unpredictable BTCC seasons in years.
After winning the title last year, ChurchPro and Steviegers will have more confidence. As always possible winners are HLR King Cobra and Gizzie (2nd and 3rd last season). “New in room A ist Grim, who finished 6th last season in room B. He had many wins in the last months. It will be interesting how he will handle the pressure in room A.”, said JDANKERT. Also GTV Zeratul changed from room B to room A. Another interesting development.
Asked about his chances to win the Jack Sears Trophy he answered: “I will try definitely, but I am not sure, wether I am ready for such a big improvement. My first goal is to achieve a next win and so many podiums as possible. My favourites for room B are Steviegers, Antz and Chief.”
The fact is, nobody knows, and that what makes the BTCC 2013 Season II all the more exciting. Maybe all pundits will be wrong and there will be a totally new champion come December.
Nice write up jdan. This should be a fun season, I have a funny feeling that the person who wins the championship won't actually have many wins but will have a good consistency. Looking forward to this :)
I also need a Room B driver to step up and host please. I will walk whoever wants to host through the settings so you can save them and just change the track and grid ordering each week. Also I just need the replays for the results you just have to let me know who won each race.
That's Ok fella. The 28s are room A times. Room B times are around 31 plus. Also make sure you save the replays if you race tonight but most of all have fun.
Would like to join room B as a stand by if some one does not make it.

Sorry for my short lived stay tonight. The router went off. All sorted now. Enjoyed it while it lasted.
The sheet is now locked.
I have also added a 17th place on the sheet incase we don't have a full room and someone can take the spot.
I have also added a green bar to the left of the placement table that will show how many spots a driver has moved up or down the table each week.
