Actually lately it comes down to this: I have less time because I am working more and enjoying work more and making about 61% more than i use to. I'm getting over the whole GTA thing but I just wish it weren't in my face all the time. So I am starting to avoid the places where I know it will be like 2ol2play and my clan. So I have less time to spend on the things I like so I'm more picky about where I spend my time, so I want to enjoy that time not spend it debating the finer points of society and violence. I guess I'm just annoyed at all the GTA stuff and wish I could just hang out with people who like to play halo.

Brother I learned a loooonnnggg time ago to not give 2 shits about what anyone says on this site. Me personally I could careless who or what people think of me... all my friends will be the first to admit I'm an asshole. This site is an outlet... sometimes I use it as a porto let, but an outlet nontheless that I use when bored at work. Don't dwell on what faceless people behind a keyboard and monitor think. You've got your opinion and beliefs and there isn't a damn thing wrong with that. In fact kudos to you for standing for what you believe in. We are all adults and should be respectful of opinions regardless if we agree or not. At the end of the day, you're the only one that matters... that is unless you have a Mrs. Radikal and some little Radikals running around, in which case they matter first and you would then be last, but then everyone here would be lower than last and really be insignificant by that point. Don't let this joint drag you down dude.

Yeah for some crazy reason, all this time I thought all of us at 2old2playHalo were equal clannies. But apparently there are certain members - six of them, actually - who are far more equal than others.
What it really comes down to is there are six members of The Clan Formerly Known As 2old2playHalo. (Hey, just like Prince!) And everybody else in the clan is a secondary citizen who is just allowed to hang out with them, so long as you follow their rules. But don't question the clique of six. They don't like that.
Oh and when you join the clan, you aren't told up front that you're not a real member. You get to figure that out on your own.

@ Free - That's great about your job man! Good for you! Hey don't be bothered by all the GTA defenders. Morality aside, I think GTA is and always has been overrated. Personally, I have no interest in playing a game based on the idea of glamorizing car theft, or killing cops, or whatever. I don't want to debate it with anybody 'cuz different strokes for different folks... Personally, I've played GTA and other than exploration, I just don't see what the big deal is about those games.
I really like Fable though, which has a similar sandbox environment and also allows people to be evil if they want, so I guess I can't judge GTA too much. Fable: Anniversary comes out soon - I can't wait!

I would play Halo more it's just that my online time is drastically different than most people here. (Typically early afternoon). That and I'm rather picky with my playlists now. Don't like btb, don't like infinity slayer, never liked swat or snipers, or griffball. So that leaves Dominion (which they removed & was my favorite playlist), ctf, and right now king of the hill (which is fun). Ricochet has grown old, and action sack is okay in small doses. So yeah, not much Halo for me anymore. :(

Yeah, I've always been picky. In Halo 2 I played btb. In Halo 3 I played btb exclusively. In Reach, it was btb and multi-team. You know H4 is different (better or worse depending on how you feel) if it makes me despise btb. But man, did I ever love btb in H3. Standoff, Avalanche, Rat's Nest, Valhalla, hell, even Sandtrap was a blast. Couldn't get enough.
Glad to hear you're warming up to customs though. I always enjoyed clan night customs simply because it was a change of pace from MM. Now, if we constantly played wacky and crazy gametypes and maps during customs, I probably would feel different, but the fact that we stick to normal MM gameplay just with custom made maps, it makes it fun. Hopefully we'll have enough on tonight for some fun. GTA5 might put a damper in that though.
@ Zombie - Well can't you be a woman in Fable? Seems like that would appeal to a female gamer. Of course, most hot chicks I see in games are played by fat dudes in their basement.
The first Fable is the best to me. The story is really great. Also, I like how in Fable you can marry as many people as you want, of whatever sex you want.

What I saw when I signed on -- 8 peeps playing MM -- so I jumped in with the over 50 crowd and turned down later invites from clannies because I was having too much fun with the old farts (and fartets). No reason to think that one HAS to play with clannies on clan night.
