Not fair on the Quali thing!

I got a good time last week by doing what they do in real life. Drafting a car in front laugh

We may be out of room at this point and I may have to go first post first served. I'll check and post up immediately.

EDIT: Room is FULL. We have 16 drivers signed up and ready to race!! I cannot accept any more entries.

@CPro - please post your impressions of the race your hosting tonight. Especially concerning any issues with the race setup or lag. Thanks.

Should take alternates in case people can't make it due to real life etc.

The only thing I say was 24 laps took 1 hour (not 40 mins) and it was dark by lap 7ish.  Also the draft was pretty strong even on the "Weak" setting

Do you guys think starting the race at 12 noon in game and switching time progression back a couple ticks would be better?

Do you guys think we should reduce the lap count to 20?

As it stands right now, there is no stratagy in the pit stop, You really need to take on a full tank as you can get 12-13 laps on a tank of gas.  By having it down to 20 laps, the pit window will open up earlier and how long you want to stay in the pits for fuel will be critical.  As for time, I would start it at 1400 and keep it at the same progression.  With 20 lap race, darkenss should fall around lap 10-12 (I would think)

If iam 1 of the 16 confirmed have a sub ready if I can't make 2 kids and wife tend to cut into my gaming time :( I also have to find time when I get off work tonite at 1 am to complete my license as of now the lobbies are locked till I get my a class.

In regards to fuel I've only been in the tuning setups and don't recall a fuel setting? Is that a lobby option or did I just miss something?

with pit stops is there any info I should be aware of? Most PC games make you pre configure your stops before the race and make you map a pit stop button to get your crew ready and confirm your settings.  Can you change settings on the fly ?

Whats a decent time for this track ?

You start the race with a full tank and with the lobby setting to Very Fast, you will run out of gas at this track around lap 13.  Once you enter the pits, A window will come up giving you the options to select what tires you want (from those you have purchased and legal for the race) along with how much fuel you want to take on.,  The actual pit stop wont start until you hit OK on the window.

In the lobby, most of us are turning 2:26's with an occasional hot lap in there.  I also think (although not confirmed) that the test drive in the garage is a few seconds faster than in the lobby.  Hope to see you there.

If the wife gets up within the hr I should be good to race...

Is anyone using a gt3 rs wheel? Iam trying to figure out which profile it's using so I can map the buttons, I tried the g27 but the new assigned buttons have no effect or is there something else I need to do?

How dark will today's race get near the end?  I was doing a night license test and found the frame rates to drop quit a bit and was very stuttery, so I would only imagine with more cars for it to be worse

On a side note can someone give me a link or tell me what each car class is in pp please exp. 300pp 400pp etc

cheers

@Grimm....any chance you could share with Parcells your best guesstimates on how many liters of fuel is needed to fill your car a quarter of a tank...or half a tank or any ratio whatsoever so I can apply some simple math to guesstimate how much fuel I'll need to take on during my pit stop today?

I promise not to blame you if things go wrong but unfortunately I cannot promise you I wont change my mind so dont screw Parcells over here bud!

The sad part of my request is I forgot to write down the number of liters it took to fill a quarter tank when we ran our practise race the other day else I would never have to ask...stupid Parcells!

Why would he tell everyone when to pit and how much gas they will need to finish the race? Isn't that part of preparing for the race which everyone should do? Not trying to be an ass or anything but I think that with a little preperation you will find out how much gas your car is gonna use per lap for how hard you have driven said lap. Maybe it's just me, I'm sure Grimm will let you know if he doesn't mind.
