Sign your name up for each event that you wish to take part in. You will receive and invite on race day before the race start, Rooms will be open from about 7:30 onwards for a prompt 8:00 start.Qualifying will be 5 laps for everyone but the host. (I get 4 )

The host will be required to stop before the end of the race to record finished fastest lap times. Invalid laps will receive a +1 minute penalty. Times will be entered on the Google docs sign up sheet and will be sorted 17th place will host the 2nd room; positions will be given to 17th place (so have a pen and paper ready)

Exceptions may happen for unstable connections.

Race

Setup - Collisions ON, Limited Damage, Compare best lap NO, End Race Timer 10:00

If you have a laptop close by, then please feel free to jump into the correct rooms by yourself. Otherwise, the host of each room will send invites out. The race will proceed as soon as the host has everyone in that can get in. (verified by last person coming in 1 at a time off a different host) Cars will do a rolling start, ordered by the qualification time. This is done on LAP 1, Pole position will initiate the race go on the exit of the final turn.

Passing any car before turn 1 is not permitted. Non qualified parties can join room 2, and people who cannot get in from qualifying will receive points but at the last place of that room.

I cannot help with room entries during the EUSL progress - I have a lot to do to make this run smoothly as possible. I ask you all to make sure that you do your best to get others in to make this run as smoothly as possible.

Thanks! Tourni

Hello,

it is good to be back! This is much more fun, than facebook, right, knight?

I forgot (I am old), who gave me the hint to check the NAT from my xbox, but I did it and managed to correct it. YEAH! So I hope at sunday everything will be okay. Now I will hear all of you and, if I am not too shy, I can talk to you.

Don't worry guys: My times are getting better each training session, but you will win :-)

That Hyperchurch fellow is fast, fast, fast. 2:22.8xx. Phew. Can't match that.

Edit: went straight off and put my fm2 hotlap hat on. Gritted my teeth and bloody went for it. Figured the time had to be there and i just wasn't being aggressive enough. Bloody hell - 2:22.6xx. Hotlaps are not race laps though. Sadly. :)

i was slow too when i started, but i learned how to use manual gears with clutch (handbreak clutch swap), it is second nature now, i dont have to think about it. Unless you use a wheel then i have no idea as i use controller.

My head hurts. Hungover.

Hey J. Perhaps you need a driving lesson or 2. I'm happy to offer my services if you ever want to have a racing school session.. I'm not the fastest guy her, but I've taught a lot of them.

Heh I have been doing the same with the driver ahead of me, but don't worry I will cook my clutch on the night and you will have no trouble passing me in the second half of the race.

Thanks for your offers for racing lessons. I will call you, if I have a little time.

Bye for today,

No more practice for me until just before the race. Need to score some points with her indoors. I would appreciate some instruction at some point. I would actually just like someone really talented to follow behind, look at replay and telemetry and give some feedback.

No really. Hotlaps are one thing, racing another, and to get to that point takes 40-50 laps over a few days. I know that I don't have natural ability, and I want to cut some of that grind out of the equation. I need to understand what it is that i do wrong to start with, and well at the end. I could do with another perspective. Currently I'm concentrating more and more on getting as much out of the brakes as possible. Plus, I figure anything that might result in a few extra tenths, will give me an extra edge. With my race night nerves I'll take all the help I can get. I'm always shocking on the night.

Heh yeah I know what you mean, braking is one of my weaknesses, consistancy is a problem. I am hoping when I upgrade to load cell brakes that it will help. I know a bad workman blames his tools...but I also believe you need the right tool for the job. Still until then I must get the best out of what I have. Touni after all is the fastest using a controller and that is just depressing LOL

Ok the best I could manage was a 2.23.750, but that was a once off. Mostly running in 2.24 or 2.25 should be interesting later.
