Just ran a few laps with Oldschool keeping me company. Cannot for the life of me find a 1:44...but looking at it I am only 01:5xx behind the fastest time on the board and that is way better than just a few weeks ago so I am not that upset. I have at least got myself fairly consistent and that is a job in itself on this track. Looking forward to the race.
Could be better but looks like more expirience pays more than good lap times - Church just passed me ........ good fight to Parcells .... some of cars rubbing ..... Fitzy on my tail ........ A LOT OF FUN -> my dream is to move it all to real life.

Lap times count for nothing...well almost nothing, as you say. Consistancy is far more important. If you can hold your racing line and keep doing that lap after lap it makes you very hard to pass. Mess up a corner and the faster guys will just glide by...Now if I could just go consistantly faster

You will get faster fella and you are.
You even put in a better lap time than me this week
And bastek the only part of the track I was faster, was the first 2 turns fella :)

If I had seen that line you took through the first corner a couple of days ago I would have found another second, just didn't dare try it in the race...I was on the money for the rest of the track and even found I had an extra couple of MPH over alot of drivers on the straight, I was getting quite anal about that last corner and the gear changes to get the last ounce of speed from the straight...but that first corner Grrrrrrrrr.

The hardest part of the 1st turn was you dont see it till you get to it lol
Just aim and hope its right. A few times i got it wrong.
Yeah enjoyed that, some good wheel to wheel in the first half, and the second half being hunted by GTV Zeratul who jumped on every slide and bad corner to gain a few yards, but I kept it together mostly held my consistency and crossed the line about 200 yards ahead...So everything to plan for a change Qualifying time was about where I expected and kept that up for most of the race laps. Now to try and do one better next week!

I feel like my boy won the race!
If Church would send me a TUNE I'd be of better help Knight! ( I'm just sayin')
BTW, I'm not even in the series and I hate that damn track...
sorry, sometimes the REAL LIFE ...uck..... I couldn't come online yesterday and until Friday I won't be able to train. Wish you all a nice week and much fun in FM4.

I have something special lined up for this weeks New and Novice Drivers Event, I hope you can make it.
Cheers Oldschool I have put the tune up on my store front, so go pick it up (just the one), I'm liking this weeks track, just run 50 laps and got a 1:31:162 so I'm guessing/hoping the fast guys are going to be mid to high 1:28's I know I can do a sub 1:30 if I hook up every corner. First few laps I spent facing the wrong way a lot, there are a couple of corners that really bite back if you push just a fraction over, but I am already consistent to within a few tenths.
as it was quite hard to find the results page, i have added it to the bottom of my posts. look for Sunday League results. i don't post often, and i know it's nearly the end, but still, it's there for you all to look over. points for sunday still yet to be added.
posts will follow about changes for last race ooooooh better calm down a bit before i flood the forum..................
Going to miss this...my first series. Seen me go from being lapped in my first race, to a surprise third in room b, to qualifying for room a and actually finishing ahead of Fitz...I'll never see that rate of progress again. It's been great and thanks you guys for all the help and encouragement. It gave me the confidence to just dive into the STCC and I look forward to Churches next project.
I can progress no further in the EUSL 4th in the Privateers is more than I could have expected and I am very happy with that, so Sunday I'm just going to relax, and enjoy the hell out of the last race Cheers to all those that have kept this going, the organizers, the admin, the hosts and of course the drivers...Just tell me there will be a next time!

I am considering another one but I want to make it somewhat less labour intensive :)
I will however make it a shorter series, 12 races - (3months) and we will have purpose built cars - I should be able to take it on properly next time :)
Thank you Church for picking it up and doing a smashing job! :)
It has been great, like when i joined last year into the BTCC, which was also hard racing.
i'm glad i made the gold racing group and hope i've proved my worth ?
pretty much found my webbed feet, with the exception of last week, sorry poidsly :( bad time to blink maybe ???
although, nerves doesn't do you any favours poidsly, try to relax mate, it is supposed to be fun as well. it seems you're so tense as if you were actually sat in the car :) and that's not too good either....

b. grow some overtaking balls
c. have my nerves surgically removed
d. remember to use the brake light thing, eh Church? Learning all the time
