Many thanks to Hammerdrake and Deep for helping me get thru the first part of the Outbreak Prime quest last night. Nightfall (Fallen Saber) was brutal in the beginning but after quite awhile (and a relaxing break in the forge) we figured out a good strategy. All 3 inside of the circle until counter went over 70% Then I dropped a blessings bubble inside the circle and the 3 of us stayed inside the bubble for the remainder of the countdown. Each of us was equipped with an exotic sword. The Vandals more or less stayed outside the bubble and when the Captains charged in we took them out with the swords.
Also thanks to KalSC for dropping in (along with Hammerdrake) and helping me charge my Siva Engine...wait, there has to be a better way of saying that
Nice strat! I always find the fallen version of that strike to be very annoying. Far too many vandals to deal with.
I was happy I could help! You guys had great timing as I was just about to log off for the night when Hammer asked for a hunter to help charge the engine.
I believe your next step is to spend more time in the plaguelands and to do the 320 version of Sepiks perfected. I think you can do that one without a fireteam though.
After that step, you'll need a warlock and hunter again to enter another code in the engine. If you need us, just give us a shout.
I got a rare drop yesterday. Ran 15 strikes yesterday and managed to get one of those very elusive skeleton keys to drop. Now I'm holding on to it and possibly going to name it George.
I *think* Ranger's warlock has advanced far enough in the quest to help enter those codes. If you see us on, check in, we might be able to help you advance to the next step.
Hopefully you'll get yours finally. I know you've have a few attempts at it now with no luck. Ranger and I both got 25 last night and thankfully got our spektar class items first try. We'll be grinding at some point to complete those quests.

Achy, after the raid kills, you'll need to enter codes into an unstable engine. Those codes are random. There is a website out there that you can enter each of the codes and it will do the math for you and provide a set of combinations that will work. I have it booked marked if you need it.
And Vosik is the worst! Many report he is actually the hardest encounter of the hard mode raid.

Charged Agonarch Runes. If you don't open the reward chest you can go to orbit and use it again and again.
It's another source for farming exotics with 3 of coins plus bounties for Taken.
The downside is the loss of what's in the chest but many of us are beyond what it provides anyway.
FYI, I can confirm that you do not have to go to orbit in order to repeat this activity. As soon as the chest spawns, the Agonarch terminal is available.
Zarnvoltmar, Eric1138 and Cliff were sheparded through The Vault of Glass by KalSC, SC Ranger and myself. Things went pretty well considering their LL were well below 200. Only a few wipes too.
Was reading a bit of what is coming with The Dawning. Lots of exciting stuff. However, there are two pieces that really struck me in the reddit postings. I didn't spend time to find the original source, so for now I'm taking these as rumor, but the gossip is that:
1. Green Engrams will AUTOMATICALLY dismantle into Weapon parts and Armour Materials

I was able to solo the Plaguelands quest step with little trouble. Now I do need a Hunter and Warlock for the next step. Found the codes.
