A Sunbreaker with Armentarium, full super and the doubled grenade recovery turned on allows you to throw nearly continuous Thermite grenades. I think I can solo this one.
Well, not quire, Lol. I tried to solo it but kept getting taken out by a camo'ed Vandal with a solar cannon. It took a number of tries to get past the Warsat but after that Deep and I were able to get to the final encounter without too much problem, both as Sunbreaker Titans. At the end we had issues with the snipers until Cheez joined us and we wrapped things up.
With a full team set up and equipped solar this NF is very doable.
This was the first time I would actually call that strike fun... No chance I would have tried it solo, though...
Burned through it three times with BlueFoxRange and GTrain X last night, and with everyone loaded up with solar abilities and weapons, we got each run done in 13-15 minutes, including a few wipes.
Since I talked about it, I had to give solo a try. It wasn't pretty, and got a little frustrating. First section and the boss were the worst. Boss took a bit of finding a good hiding place while he was solar, he can one shot kill you. And the first area took some work too. But dragon's breath, a fusion and genesis chain ended up being a good mix for me.
Some the old guys worked on Crota normal mode. We started short on time but we managed to almost beat Crota. Just a few more minutes was required. The lower light level enemies made it enjoyable.
Two successful runs on the Nightfall over the weekend. Deep helped me and Midnight Office get past the warsat, and then MO and I two-manned it for the rest. We wiped about 3 times but finally took done the Shank. MO and I played it again last night with Vaht and I think we blasted through it in about 15 minutes. Practice made perfect!
Cool Duke. It really was a good NF. I felt really odd saying Fallen SABER + Nightfall = fun, because I don't think those words have ever been uttered together without some very negative words in between.
Now this week's, Omnigul, brawler, grounded, chaff, match game.... just doesn't look like there will be much fun factor there.
Duke, I used an arc machine gun to drop her shields and an abyss defiant to keep her disoriented. Also Defender suppressor grenades are very helpful for that too.
The first area is mostly hive at first with several wizards and ogres. I used the Defiant a lot for that section, but also had a void shotgun on for the fallen siva captains. Switched to a good scout until we got to the final room, then back to the abyss.
Nightfall this week is amazingly easy for as few as two people. The biggest problem was the sparseness of enemies. You have to push a bit so you kill enough for Gold within 30 minutes. The Vex and Fallen were killing each other off.
Arc weapons are your friends but there are lots of Solar shanks.

And I just now logged in hoping KalSC might have some tips on Omnigul :-). Thanks for the warning!
This week's was not too bad at all. It helped that I had an Abyss Defiant to confuse Omnigul. The rest was pretty standard.

"Don't run, you'll only die tired" LOL!!
Thanks go to Kal SC, SC Ranger and Vaht Vokuree for helping a member of destiny.bungie.org complete his first WotM.
It was at the last second of the last try. Phew!
Good for you guys! Who was the sixth? Or did you five-man it?
FYI, we 4-manned the Vosik phase one. One runner. Surprised the hell out of me. 5-manned phase 2, also much to my surprise.
