Qualification Details:
To correctly sort the rooms there is a qualification event to be run. It starts today and will finish on Sunday the 2nd June.
Qualification Ends: 02/June
Track: Suzuka West
Car: 2007 Renault Clio RS 197 with Race Brakes and Drag Tires ONLY (Build available on Steviegers S/F)
Damage: Sim
To complete the Qualification time you have to set up an Online Lobby with sim damage to be able to save the replay
Only Clean laps will be counted.
Once you have done your best time you must save the replay and post it on your S/F.
You must also only do 15 laps per session and specify what lap the fastest time was, in the replay description.
Please put your fastest clean time on the the sign up sheet in the correct area.
Event Rules:
1. This event is a Non- Contact event.
2. Sim Damage will be enabled. (For the Tyre Degradation)
3. Handicaps will be enabled (See below for more information)
4. Each race night will consist of one race
5. You must make at least one pit stop per race.
6. Your lowest 2 race points will be dropped from your final score.
7. Any cars found not to be built to spec and that have raced will be banned for the rest of the season
8. All cars must have there racing number displayed on the Official Racing board available on steviegers S/F
9. While pitting you must use the FULL entry road and exit road. You must also say when you are entering or exiting the pits. Failure to use the full pit entry and exit road will result in a 10 seconds penalty to be added on your final race time.
NB: The rules above may change / Added to before the season starts. If there are any changes I will highlight which ones and why.
Handicap information:
At the start of the season everyone will have a 0% handicap profile and throughout the season the lowest handicap profile everyone can race with will be 0%. The highest handicap profile a driver will race with is 10%.
The top 3 drivers from each race will receive a 5% power handicap to their Handicap Profile.
Place 5th or lower will lose -5% from there handicap.
Point Scoring:
The points below will apply too each room individually
1st = 20
2nd = 18
3rd = 17
4th = 13
5th = 12
6th = 11
7th = 10
8th = 9
9th = 8
10th = 7
11th = 6
12th = 5
13th = 4
14th = 3
15th = 2
16th = 1
The overall champion will be decided by the driver who has the best average score per race over the entire season.
The points sheet will show how many points each driver has scored per race (and the races removed from scoring due to the lowest 2 drop) but in the total points area it will show there current average)

All races are to be held on a Sunday at 20:00 BST (15:00 EST, 14:00 CST, 13:00 MST, 12:00 PST
Each race night will take no longer than 1 hour MAX

if your gonna run drag tyres i would take put the mandatory pitstop beacuse you will have to pit at least once prob twice
I done a full race to test tyres and only needed the one stop but happy to open it up so people can pick when they want to stop.

BTCC 2013 winner and last Sundays SLSC race winner signs JDRT contract
Another big deal for JDRT! Stevie signed up a regulary contract with JDRT. He will race in SLSC and in the upcoming Clio event as JDRT driver.
JDANKERT: “This deal, that this racer wants to be part of our team is a really great news. He helps me with his decision to forget my difficult results from Sunday. Aaaahh, I am so happy. Yeah!”

Does this mean team Pistonheads is not entering this event as a team?
Regardless of the above answer if people dont want Parcells running a standard paint job directly from the manufacturer someone should gift me a paint (number 11). Do not misinterpret this as Parcells asking/begging for a paint cause I could care less what my car looks like.
Oh yea I can do up a PistonHeads paint and send it to you only if you promise to turn up to race, or at least let me know if your not.

Fitz, I'm pretty sure Falken and Michelin BOTH sell tires....
Only if we are entering as a team do I want a team paint job. And if we are entering as a team of course I'll let you know when the next bridge tournament prevents me from racing a given week.
Snippet from AUTOFORZA magazine....
Deadworx Racing are said to have made "encouraging" progress with preparation of their Clio Cup car. General E Dead completed a fairly lengthy car test at Catalunya and although no times were published, he pronounced himself pretty happy with the results.
" Obviously this at a very early stage in the cars development, but we have made decent progress with our understanding of the car and also with regards to set up. Clearly this is a FWD car so we were looking to improve all the usual issues of turn in and the prevalent understeer of these cars, utilising the lessons learned from our BTCC (race winning) VW Scirocco and the SEAT Leon Supercup cars.. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by how the series regulation tyre works on this car, we have had pretty mixed results on this sort of tyre on different, mostly RWD chassis before but the renault seems to be fine with them. Whether or not we have the optimal aero package at this stage remains to be seen, I am sure that we will need further track time and perhaps some news of other teams performance before we can make a call on that"
It is unclear at this point whether the General intends to run under the guise of Deadworx Racing, or to compete with another team.Certainly the car spotted testing was unliveried. There are also unconfirmed reports of Deadworx running the rookie Alba Santacruz in the second car, but no comment was made by the Deadworx CEO.
Commenting on the recent hiatus of the team the CEO said
"Yeah it has been a quiet few weeks, a lot of outside factors have prevented us running as much as we would have liked, we regrettably had to miss the conclusion of the BTCC and the start of the SEAT Leon series but hopefully things should be a little more straightforward. We are a small outfit so we are not going to make every single race of every series but we aim to be in most of em"
