Team DBBQ Racing is reporting in '07 Clio RS Series Squad as follows:

The default '07 Clio RS received from the factory had horrible understeer. Race engineers and calculated the changed required then ran extensive simulations to verify the results. Mechanics then poured over and spent 57 straight hours and many cups of Tim Hortons to give the shakedown car a decent base set-up.
Having reached a milestone, the team now turns its attention to getting the livery ready. It is rumoured that the newly hired aerodymicist tinkered with minute details of the car, all within the race federation specifications.
MPR thanks GGG Motorsports for the kind words and wishes them best wishes for the future. I am sure the team will do well in this event. MPR will still support GGG Motorsports.
MPR have currently signed 3 drivers and is waiting on confirmation from the 4th driver (still thumbing through the contract). There will be a press release when everyone has been signed.
A number of new teams springing up here, should give the "establishment" something to think about eh, Still not sure if going privateer in this or not....

MPR boss MaxPerforma gave a brief interview to annouce his drivers for this event. He went on to say that he was happy with the lineup and he has a strong team. He told reporters the paint scheme has been changed slightly and they are currently working on a tune for the cars, but the testing so far has gone well and are producing some good lap times.
Motegi, Japan: The Correcaminos Racing Team have announced their participation in the upcomming Clio RS Cup Championship. They will be campaining under the "Dominos Pizza" sponsership. Correcaminos Racing Team have contracted the services of Juan Derecho for the season.
The last few days have been exciting times here at GrimGrnninGhost Motorsports as things are moving along quickly as we not only are busy getting a brand new team off the ground but also preparing the upcoming 2013 Clio RS Cup Series. “I’m really proud of the team we have assembled here at GGG Motorsports. With so many things going on and my current racing schedule, I have had to rely on the organization’s leadership team to getting things ready both here at the shop and on the track. I have no doubt that we have the best team in the series” stated Grim after finishing a quality performance in the recent American Icon Series race at Sebring.
As we announced the other day, we had signed our title sponsor DHL for the race team along with our first driver Nunderw00b. Over the last couple days, we have been able to sign four additional drivers to complete the team’s roster for the upcoming Clio RS Cup Series. Skiwinv, Kevlar133, Toneyssr427 and Snoop SLR8789. When asked why this group of drivers, Grim stated “I have had the pleasure of racing against these drivers in the Seat Series and other forms of racing over the past few months and have enjoyed the close competition. Additionally, these were all “Privateer” drivers and we wanted to share the team experience with them as we looked to the future and we are happy they will be part of that future here at GGG Motorsports.
Over the next few weeks, we will have a formal press conference as we introduce the drivers to the media along with the team’s cars. In the meantime the team is off to Catalunya for some initial shake down runs of the cars while we work with our engineers to fine tune the cars. With the help from DHL, our cars along with our support van have already arrived in Catalunya waiting for the drivers to arrive throughout the week. Some have already taken the Clio out on the track back in the states and all are reporting initial under-steer problems however we are quickly working that out of the car and will be ready in time for the first event in Tsukuba in June.

Meanwhile at Deadworx HQ, a small lock up in north of Scotland, various noises of hammering and curses have been heard while the teams engineers sort out a few teething problems with the car after what driver General E Dead described as an "interesting" test session where MPR head honcho Max Performa was also spotted running. The team noted several areas of possible improvement and are working towards this end. In contrast to the bigger teams, Deadworx have the services of the local council to help move equipment and personnel. Thusly a bright yellow Highland Council van has been seen in the paddock ferrying in parts and takeaway pizzas for the team..
"we are grateful the Highland Council have agreed to help us out in this manner and we are training some local young people in the art of race car preparation and repair so it is a situation to both our advantage" the teams CEO reported.
"we have noted the car is not as fast in certain areas as we would like but we are still making progress with our understanding of the car and there is still a few weeks to iron out the few remaining issues" he added. It is understood that the team will be running a single entry at this stage, the car was sporting a paintjob reminiscent of the 1980s Renault F1 livery....
JDANKERT: “Wow, the track list is great. First three weeks in Japan, that make all the travel and hotel planning easier and it will reduce costs. After that in weekly changes from the States to Europe. That is a high sophisticated logistic challenge for our little team. I think I will have to talk to GGG Motorsports. May be we can make a deal with DHL.”
SimF40 has been dropped by his last Team due to using up all the spare body work panels and available chassis , through no fault of his own , during the Seat series the car seemed to be magnetised and attracted just about every other car to come over and give the car a big kiss........Having approached several sponsors I was told to develop a car with rubberised body panels and then come back to discuss a sponsorship deal......so going solo this series as DRS Racing. C u on the track in June !
Can we specifically explain "clean laps" to those of us less talented? Is that no touching rumble strips or just all on track? I know i know but some of us need to know this clubs definition

The game will tell you if the lap is dirty or not with the icon next to the lap time. Unfortunately if the lap prior to a lap is dirty it can carry over to the next lap if the "dirty" happens close to the lap finish.
Awesome work grim!
I love this team stuff :-)

EVENT NOTICE!!
Qualification for room placements.
Track: Suzuka West
Car: 2007 Renault Clio RS 197 with Race Brakes and Drag Tires ONLY (Build available on Steviegers S/F)
Damage: Sim
I better get a time sorted then!
The game will tell you if the lap is dirty or not with the icon next to the lap time. Unfortunately if the lap prior to a lap is dirty it can carry over to the next lap if the "dirty" happens close to the lap finish.
The game will tell you its dirty by placing a Triangle with an "!" in the senter next to the time
And in the replay?
I have a time, and each time I try to enter a time it adds 10 seconds to what I enter. Just a heads up.
Will have a look later chap :-)
I'll give this a go later today, havn't decided if I'll run it or not.
FMMotorsport announces that the team will be running in the Clio cup.
