After watching the replays I don't think I did to badly. Race 1 I was 30HP down due to only getting about 80% throtle and still was in a heated battle with Antz, lost it in the drag to the line.
Race 2 I still didn't get full throtle but now I got 95%, the tap from Stevie that sent me into the pitwall was MY fault as I didn't call my position.
Next week I'll check my telemetry before the race!

I was wondering why you seemed to be off pace from the rest of the Minis.
I'm glad you hung out w/ us for the first race at least!

That's why I said it was my fault, I should have called I was on your quarter. No faul, no harm.
whoever was behind me and crashed with so much force - sorry, man. I had no chance to stop. There was a little touch at my rear and then I flew from the highspeed street, crashed in, sprang back on track and there was ... you ...
My little, beloved Mini was nearly destroyed. I drove him back into the garage to put all thing together for the next race.
As you will already have gathered i am a massive American car fan, love the classic 50's and muscle of the 60's plus am an avid Hot Rodder.
The reason why the EUSL has really grabbed me is to allow my fantasys to be indulged of taking part in the great Trans Am battles of the 60's and early 70's.
So, as a set up for the Mustang vs Mustang series take some time to look at this and, if you have a spare few hours to invest take the time to have a good look around the site this is from.
Yeah, no question I was holding them up in the corners. I knew I was going down sooner or later....just didn't have anywhere near the pace of the Minis through the twisty bits...especially the final series onto the front straight. But I'll be damned if I was going to make it easy for them.
Agree totally Parcells, I was a little concerned I might have been a little too aggressive after the Hairpin incident, and Helios and I have had some great clean fights over the last few weeks so he is the last person I want to mess up. I watched the replay and decided it was just another Knight/Helios paint rubbing corner of fun., I look forward to many more Next week the tables will be reversed so we will see if the minis can pull something out the hat...Mind you they could be so busy fighting with each other those Yankee rust buckets will just run away.

I'm counting on the in-fighting. I think you'll be surprised to find the Minis aren't going to be as hamstrung as you are thinking. The Camaros "should" have an easier time keeping the Minis bottled up behind (negating the Mini's cornering advantage), but if they get clear, the speed advantage through the corners are going to make them a bugger to back around...even down the long straights. I wouldn't be surprised if the Minis are coming off the corner 10 mph (or more) faster than the Camaros...then are able to brake deeper at the other end. Going to be quite the speed vs. handling battle for sure. I'll be very surprised to see the Camaros run away and hide (at least not w/o a little help ).

Your right. I thought the minis might be killed here, but did a little testing and I reckon it may be closer than people think. The issue will be getting past and managing to successfully defend at least two consecutive straights. Tourni and Raddo's consistent über pace is the fly in the ointment for mini drivers here. :)

This is the track the camaro is faster on - Poidsly has hit the nail on the head.
The camaro gets a strong start here, but the mini does make it up through the last section - i expect alot of defensive driving to be in play here :)
front bumber at the ready boss
The way it should be :)
Dont forget to get your sign ups done.
Church, stop being silly and get your sign up done :P
Just ran the minis round Road America, I think the Camaro drivers are in for a surprise.
Nope...I already know you all are going to be a pain in my arse!
Dawg, Antz.....we're going to need to get a good launch and get in front by T1.....then work together to keep them behind.
I promise it won't hurt, I will just rub you a little bit as I go past.
Lag hit?
Could some one send me race 1 from room 2, i'd love to see what it was like :)
Also, send the replays to Spaz :)
Parcells has both replays on his storefront, I'm sure he will send them to you.
Thanks Fitzy, i will watch them off there then.
Sounded like some good racing :)

It was close, this is the battle for third with me,Parcells and Bastek.
Horrible photo !! I lost 2 places - fucked this corner and all gone - but anyway guys been quicker than me.
Just a little heads up: Signed for Road America, probably won´t make it, but anyways...
Thats a good photo Fitzy - I had one of Raddo and I, must of been no more than 3ft between us going into turn 1 :D
I forgot to say Parcells would you throw some paint on that mini your letting yourself down.
