Edit: For any of the guys looking to study lines I've put the replay up on the storefront. It's only 5 laps and they're all pretty consistent: 46.x, 43.4, 43.4. 43.5 and the 42.7. I hope it can help you get something to improve!

^ thanks, i watched tournis vid of him doing a few laps and to be honest he is waaaaaaaay to smooth. period. i fiind when i watch these fast vids of laps everything seems to move in slow motion yet when i play or when i watch my own replays it seems to be on x2 speed for things happening to fast lol. >.<
i just dont think i can be that smooth on the pad, and i dont have the time behind the wheel to be so smooth.
During yesterday's practice session there was plenty of lag between Antz and I, and I had a really bad feeling about trying to pass him. I couldn't hang back though, and made my move. Wrong choice!
1. Suddenly Antz warped into my car at 243 mph!
2. This had catastrophic results for me as my car exploded, and began its trip through the air.
3. While airborne Antz decided that the impact wasn't nearly devastating enough, and decided to do a double lag kiss.
4. This ensured my journey into the right wall where I ping ponged across the track to the left.
5. All while Antz would have seen none of this transpire, and drives off without incident.
6. To add insult to injury, Tourni gave me a little shove just for good measure
Isn't lag great?!
This sequence of events is presented for those who said they just saw my car explode without seeing the cause
PS: It's schools out for my son and he brought a great "Zeugnis", very good "Noten" back home and so we will take him and our dog and stay some days with our camping van.
just heads up i am unsure if ill be back home by 9pm uk time on sunday. so not guna sign up but if i manage to get home in time ill pop on, very unlikley ill be back by 8... 9 maybe lol :(
Fingers crossed, I have moved my router into the attic and I seem to be getting a more consistant connection to the Cell, the reception to my laptop that the Box is linked to is not so hot but seems to be working okay. If I do find myself lagging I will drop out so not to cause problems to anyone else...of course this is assuming the dyeing Box keeps coughing up blood for the duration LOL Oh well by the EUSL 4 I will have the new Elite Box and all should be well again.

You on the wireless connection to xbox ?? If yes - i will recommend to switch to the cable :)
No, Box wired to laptop, laptop wireless to the router that is now in the Attic. I tried the box direct to the router but that was worse than ever as the router had to be downstairs and kept loosing it's connection the the Cell.

Just buy longer cable and connect xbox to the router !! Wireless connection tend to lose some packets and connection is let say divided. Cable has much better stability even when is long. I'm sure that lag will be much smaller on the proper cable .........
Even laptop will work fo You better on the cable but of course laptop is portable but xbox not neceserry :-)
Rule no. 1 for online gaming -
Never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never
Use a wireless connection for online gaming....
End of rules...
You make that sound so simple, The router is now three stories above me...but that is not the issue I am having, a few weeks ago I had no problems at all, no lag at all. Now my speeds are dropping to 0.25Mbps download and sometime 0.06Mbps upload, no amount of cable will sort that issue out. I moved the router as high as I could and was getting 3Mbps, now it's down to 1.4....if it stays above 1.00 I may be okay, time will tell.
I know what bastekk is getting at, basically the data rate you recieve on wireless in really dependant on range. Unfortunately, so is your GSM which is why you probably noticed a big improvement when you put it higher. :(
What i'd recommend is homeplugs, they are good enough for most home and gaming use, provided your home has good wiring :) It may give you a bit more flexibility to where you can position your modem :)
Do they ever have plans to install FibreOptic there?
LOL I live in the middle of nowhere, no chance on earth of that ever happening. The issue is entirely with my connection to the cell, or rather the cell is breathing like a Mofo. Bandwith allocation is I believe at the root of the problem. As long as I am getting decent bandwidth I have no issues with my internal network and all is fine, but when I dont get the bandwith I need then it matters not what I do with my network or how I connect it.
Stay the night Paul hehe. Good luck fella.
I will make it just in from work.
*** NOTICE ***
DUE TO FORZA NETWORK PROBLEMS THIS RACE IS NOW GOING TO BE DONE NEXT WEEK.
SORRY ALL, BUT 2 PEOPLE CANNOT SET ROOMS UP.
********
Pretty annoyed about that really :(
pretty crappy.
Although there are some serious storms in America you dont think its due to that?

lmao. so sorry papz. your right i didnt feel a thing.
It's not your fault mate It was just a case of messed up servers yesterday. Normally we don't have that lag between us.
Nice racing Antz!
The expert level of photoshop required to blame antz for your lack of obeying physics is outstanding Paps even though it's beneath you
LOL
It will be indeed Poidsly. It's set up to be some really good racing :D

Not looking great I am watching my bandwidth dropping every test down to 0.9 up and 0.25down
Sorry about that Parcells. Extremely stupid maneuver on my part and killed yours, Poidsly's and my race.
