What i find quite interesting is the points gap in Div 1 from 3rd to 7th is 6 Points! and Antz is also chasing bastek for the lead, noticed he has really stepped up his game :)
Missing those 2 races killed me....and I'm going to be missing a couple more in July.
First race had a coming together with Helios through the fast S's due to a well timed lag which saw me 20 feet behind him and then sitting in his passenger seat... Then came back on the circuit and managed to collect Knight as I made an assumption that I was last and pulled out without looking. So knight an apology from me.
Managed to get into a bit of a groove and got my lap times down to 2.16 and then a few dirty 2.15. Great! Problem is that interspersed with these flashes of genius was a higher number of 2.18's and 2.20's... :-(
Second race had my daughter telling me that the water had gone off and therefore she could not bath. That manifested itself by me driving off the fast sweeper whilst running second on the first lap and then on the 8th lap when she pulled my headphones off resulting in another off and loosing 2 places to Ant and Bastek.
Great racing as always, love these cars and going to miss them.
Question is though, what is the Chariot of choice for the next round? any tips??
Either, both are very pushy cars that really dont require much effort to drive. Its all about get your line dead on to actually try and carry a bit of speed through.
Those lag incidents are exactly why i had to remove sim dam, it was just making a mess :)
I'm gonna watch the replays for sure especially race 2 as i managed some nifty taffic managment :D
Just don't watch the first corner on race 2.
Not sure where my head was before the first bend, but it wasn't on the race ?????
Thank god it didn't cause a bad accident.

I doubt it was any worse than my overtake on you...
Race 1: had fun getting in to 3rd place, good driving RogueGoose, took me 3 passing attempts just to make it stick. first one I am still surprised I couldn't get enough of a draft to just pass you on the straight itself instead of in the braking zone which I then screwed up. Kept applying pressure after that for about 2 laps. The pass that worked you could get yourself collected in time to stay ahead initially but were vulnerable on the straight after the first chicane & I was ready to pounce. Tried to close the gap to Tourni & Poidsly after that but it was just too much.
Race 2: After the small incident in the first corner I immediately got the lead & started pushing to create a gap, got into the zone and by the time Tourni got in 2nd I had enough of a lead to control the gap.
Tourni, after watching the replays I noticed that we drive very different lines on a couple of corners, even use different gears or did it have to do with the fact you were pushing the car to its limits.
Poidsly, there is a reason Tourni put me straight in with the aliens without running a qualification. If you want I can try to give you some tips to get faster.
I know which corners your talking about, the first set. I found it easier to go through there is 2nd as i found hte car to be more consistent than trying to get an extra tenth or two from 3rd :)
Actually it's the 2nd chicane after the first straight, you take that in 2nd but your line is about the same, chicane before the hairpin I shift into 2nd for the first part but shift into 3rd before the lefthander & the final corner I stay in 3rd and turn in much later, really obvious if you check out the replays.
I would be happy to get any advice KC. Thanks.
There are 2 key areas where I know I can pick up time but those 2 both hinge around braking and the subsequent lines I take. You guys are very late and turn late diving in to the apex with more aggressive and earlier throttle. I tend to brake early, less fully and try to carry momentum through with less throttle. At least that is what i think is happening. Interestingly I think the last few races I have started to push the braking later and on some corners wider, so maybe it's slowly sinking in.
Of course, it may well be that Ive got as fast as I can, and I'm running out of talent. :) seriously though, if I did not think I could still improve, I'd give up. I'm having to much damn fun chasing Tourni, and duelling with Rogue, Hyper, Church, Gizzie etc for that.
Real shame I can't be around for a bit.
WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THESE 4 WHEEL DRIVE.......SHEDS!!!! Jesus H Christ on a Bicycle these are truely, without any possible come back the WORSE things I have ever attempted to drive.
Please somebody tell me that I have loaded the wrong tune and there is a set up that is RWD only!

Church I am glad you said that as I am clutch dumping and handbraking at probably 3 or 4 corners and still am only on the 1.44's dirty and 1.46's clean. And Mr T, glad it is not just me that has the same feelings...
Anyway, will come up with a suitable colour scheme to match my thoughts...
Off down Sarf End for a bit of Cruizin, Where is the switch for the Neons?
Anyone having difficulty with the understeer you may want to try braking a little more, and taking a later apex. Carry too much speed into the corner, or apex too early, and you're going to wash out at corner exit.
I do think people have missed the point here of what i've done
I knew how tight this season was going to be, so for alot of people their finishing league position would depend on these last races... and this cars are so close that its really going to be hard work overtake others.
I will be grouping divisions on joined rooms this time, to help the battles :D
Signed up for the next 2 weeks. Glad I'm not missing Laguna...I love that track. Maybe I can get a repeat of my performance vs. Gizzie during Rd 2 of the Championships.
Hopefully I will be able to give Helios a run for his money here, last Sunday we were set up for two good races against each other untill the dark forces of Real Life and getting kicked from the race showed up.

That would've been a 5 way scrap for the history books. I was looking forward to it too. Hopefully we'll catch a break this week.

No worries Dawg, I doubt it made any difference to my final place, just couldn't get the hang of that piece of...*censored*

Yeah - there are two more points drops to come :)
1 is next week, although thinking about doing it now...

This is going to be very painful.....
Wayne.
You don't like the car??
The fun should be in the racing...
But yes, they are shite - These are infact bone stock for the most part. The evo had some minor power increase.
You need to use your handbrake in these.
It helps

Wayne.
So me jumping in and saying that I'm running in the 1.41s isn't going to help.
Don't be silly Fitzy, of course that's helpful. It gives Dawg a decent benchmark to track his lack of progress.
No.

41's aren't going to do any good if you don't make it through the first corner....
I'd keep an eye on that Parcells character...been a little shady lately.
Going to need to drive both of them. Not really feeling either one. Meh, thems the scraps sometimes.

Oops!
Left the sign up closed - It is now open again! Also added driver charts to the main league sheet, was bored :)

I tried the scooby last night, and managed to squeak into the 1:39's. Late apex is your friend.
