I've updated the tentative results in the Google spreadsheet. I italicized this week's numbers until Snappy confirms the results will stand. I don't recall any incidents that would cause review but you never know. Fun race everyone.
Had a brilliant time in the privateers race yesterday evening - It was my first ever "proper" race and I was amazed at how different/serious/real/intense it felt, compared with the lobby races and track nights I have been involved in. The 10 lapstrying to work out how I was ever going to get past Knight, as he just kept on going round and round without making a single mistake, all the time with Helios constantly lurking in my rear view mirror, was without a doubt the best experience I have had playing a racing game, ever! Can't wait for Suzuka!

It is something else isn't it, I am still quite new to all this too and am enjoying the hell out of it. The shorter track should be more intence still and like you I cant wait
Great race last night at least for one member of the works Vauxhall team.
Gizzie's disasters are best explained as that and should be left there.
Well pleased with my second place. Got a lot of grief early on from the Meganes but managed to get away and bang off the laps.
Only one scary moment when I think Boza went to pit, missed and ended up in the armco next to the last turn, thankfully he did not come across the track and had the where with all to shout out that he had done it. Congrats.
Once again a great race and a great series, interesting as writing this, I saw Swhites comments and know he will be a "works" driver in the next one. That will be great.
I think that was me that missed the pit. I knew you were behind me and I don't know how I didn't cause you a shunt. I thought the game would take over earlier so I hadn't slowed down enough. I was staring at the end of the armco with it dead center of my car but managed to avoid it by coming back onto the track. If I would have wrecked you I would have been gutted.

Quite right mate it was you, I must admit I was not sure whether I was racing you for position or not at the time and in fact I think the only reason I did not end up stacking into you was the fact you called you were pitting and realising I did not have to chase you I then locked up my brakes into the left then right at the top of the hill before the pit entrance which put me a bit more of a distance back and gave me and you more time to react.
Anways, no harm done and a great race.
Can't believe it's a month untill the next race, can't wait.
Yes, the tune was great, don't forget me. Parcells thought the plan was to wait until the third race to scare the field with the domination of the Renault? I didn't know we were supposed to step it up yesterday. Poor team leadership on Fitzy's part no doubt.
Not to worry though, Parcells has surely given the privateer racers a false sense of security to date, except maybe that sWhite fella, I don't think his fuel is legal btw.

Hmm...let me think...yeeees vague memories of a Renault in my rear view at the start...was that you?

The US changed to Daylight Savings time on Sunday morning. The UK switches to Summer Time (I think that's what they call it) later on. It was discussed in this thread and Cotter started a new thread about how it would affect race times. I know not everyone has time to surf this board daily but if you are interested in a series you have to follow them to make sure you don't miss an important bit of info. Sucks that you missed it.
Parcells don't know who Ashley is and also don't who Pirtek is (albeit, Pirtek posts above sounds like he wants to race with us???). Also don't know who the original Schub fella is that made our first race and don't see him posting anything here to suggests he will be at the next race or whatever.
Safe to say Parcells don't know a whole lot and assuming Snappy does not care how many new guys start racing the privateer races I'll let anyone in (more the merrier). But Parcells will not waste time tracking people down. If I know someone will be racing with us I would expect some sort of message in this thread or a personal message and I will get you invited but had Pirtek been online Sunday at race time I wouldn't have known to invite you, how would I have possibly known this?

Ashley (there was a little more in his GT) I believe was the one that joined just before race one. After we lost all the information from the old forums (no way to look back at the results), nobody could remember his GT. Then someone got confused thinking Sherb & Helios were 2 seperate identities.....so the mystery guy got temporarily named "Schub".
Now to add to the next question, would Pirtek happen to be Ashley?
This is turning into a regular murder mystery.....except w/o the murder.

Cool. I'll clear some room and kick you a FR to add another layer of defense. I saw you pop in briefly, and it wasn't until you had left that it clicked "crap, was that our new guy?"

Parcells, we need to get Ashley added to our FL so we can make sure to get invites to him next race. I hope he's still in the "recent" que...

Pirtek, If you reply AFTER the last little [*/quote] you'll get credit for what you say instead of who you're quoting...
Old School snaped first
Pirtek, Ashley, Schub, all the same person? You may be onto something here Helios/Chris/Sherb and certainly makes more sense.
