What pedals are you using? I also use auto clutch because I don't have a shifter atm and use the paddles. few things to look at..... there's been random times my csr elite pedals in multiple games only show 50% power I usually unplug them plug back in and reboot my system all ways seems to sort them In the wheel setup menu map all your buttons and pedals than at the bottom configure both wheel and pedals to make sure the inputs are being registered....make sure to click save :) Try those and see if it helps
I am using CSW V2 , G27 pedals and a Thrustmaster shifter Th8.
INK, really look around in the menus. Like Kurupt said. Be sure to re map you pedals and any buttons you want to use the you have to calibrate them. Takes a minute or two but definitely worth the trouble.

I have tried several times to calibrate . all calibrqted properly. anyway how do I change my FOV to 60 . Im running triple screen. Did the FOV project cars calculater and 60 was the reccomended number. I only see fov from 89 and up at visual settings.
hmm... haven't touched those camera settings, mine were defualted to 80 I think. In the wheel button assignments tab, you can assign buttons for seat position and angle, and I believe there was an FOV setting as well (it was called that though) but the buttons were defaulted to [ and ] for that.
There are so many options and not enough buttons on the controller!!! this is giong to take some getting used to. Also my HUD stuff keeps defaulting back is it set per car or something.
This is going to be a massive learning curve as I'm finding it really hard to stay on track in any car
Jumped in a Career with Karts and these little things are fun as hell. I havent used krupt's FFB wheel settings yet but I love the feel of these karts. There are a few times where my kart leaves the ground and I can feel that in my wheel...pretty cool.
So the game has been released for almost 24 hrs now in the uk and steam. Reviews from around around the world have been tallied by bandi namco the games distributor and it's rating out of 100 is 86% on steam it's been the number 2 top seller, number 18 with the most users ingame and #1 played racing title with nearly 11000 ingame users today (ac the previously most popular racing game on steam is avg. 4500 users during peak time)
asides from the expected and typical fan boy hate reviews from mostly assetto corsa and a few rf2 supporters. The majority of complaints came from xbox pad users complaining about it being to twitchy and near impossible to drive, further research into the issue is reporting that a few months back Microsoft released an update to the xbox1 controller but needs to be installed manually and was not an auto update with the release. I don't have an Xbox 1 but from friends Ive been told you need to go into xbox settings/ controllers/ update.
pc users need to get the update from Microsoft website. Also I've read the suggested profile to use in pcars controller settings is profile #2
On my days off Iam gonna try and write up a user friendly setup guide to help you all as there still tons of options Iam still learning about.....Iam also reporting any complaints, issues back to the sms forum in hope to make it easier to use and fix issues see please pm with any concerns and I'll do my best to help you out :)
The biggest issue I have atm is that all cars have the same default ffb profile tho they all feel different to get the most out of each is to adjust these settings and they make a massive difference. Sms should have a base ffb setup for each car. I posted a generic base ffb a few posts above that works well with most. Iam slowly going through each class and working on a better default profile which I will post later.
out of all the reviews the best I've found so far that would relate to us the most is the thread going on at gt planet, looks to have impressed alot of users! Hopefully the controller issue will have xbox signing the same song.
have the guys I gave keys too had a chance to play yet? What do think? I'd love to hear some reviews, impressions from people outside of the testers :)
Project cars public forum is now live!
http://forum.projectcarsgame.com/
I'd suggest signing up there as it has forums with each platform as well as technical support where you can report any issues, get tips etc.
ok we ran for a few hours of online tonight and got to try a lot of the race cars that i havent got in my career yet and we had a lot of fun, i was a bit dissaponted with game but the session tonight changed all that this game is going to be fucking awesome for us
Out of the box the cars were unbdriveable for me on xbone and controller. Some trial and error has got me to a place where the majority of cars I tried were OK.
The main issue is that 100% steering lock is only 60% stick travel. This means its very sensitive and there is a bug that means you can't have any steering dead zone, leading to lots of small corrections. The devs are on the forums saying its priority 1 but we'll see.
I'll post up my settings today for any controller users and I'd recommend adjusting the steering rack speed on every car to almost the slowest speed to help out until they fix it. It made a big difference.
All that aside, there is a great game in there. The cars sound amazing, especially external view. Night racing was epic, spa has never been so fun! Some gems of cars too, GT4s are a highlight for me so far.
I'm torn on whether or not to preorder, not much time left. After reading here and on the pCars forum it sounds like the game isn't great with a controller. I do want to get a wheel setup someday but for now all I have is a controller.
befor the multiplayer last night i had only driven the karts ands a cateram and i was finding it really difficult to control the cars, but i think a lot of this is down to setups and tyres the road cars are really hard to get or keep heat/pressure in them. But the GT cars were fucking awesome as were the couple of open wheelers we tried as well.
i think the main problem is that the setup for for the FFB is not like foza you set your setting and thats it, the individual cars have there own FFB setting as well as the overall settings and they make a big difference.
Its a new game new,new handeling model etc its just a steeper learning curve than going from forza to the next forza, in fact william said last night that he finds the game easier than forza(hes never been a big forza guy) i think this is because he is fresh to it with no preconceptions of what your gonna get. and on the controller
we tried all of the tracks that are not in forza some great some good but none that i would have said i dont like.
I think that a couple of months in and we have a handle on the game we are all gonna be saying forza 6 is gonna have to VERY special.
I also think that for me forza 5 died last night the disc was put in its box(my forza disc lives in the machine) never to return, the king is dead
long live the king
ps we are going back tonight to go try the other tracks we missed last night.

Anyone know if I can plug a keyboard in to my XBone?
oooo i didnt think of that

Updated the controller, I´ll find out soon if there´s any effect.

Care to elaborate? Are you still on a controller?
So, I wanna list, good, bad,?

For those who are interested here are my controller settings.
I've only really played with the steering ones so take brakes/throttle with a pinch of salt. Don't forget to adjust car steering rack
Steering dead zone 0 - a must to stop the full lock sticking bug
steering sensitivity 0
Throttle dead zone 20
Throttle sensitivity 0
Brake dead zone 10
Brake sensitivity 50
Clutch dead zone 14
Clutch sensitivity 45
Speed sensitivity 75 - this is one I have fiddled with a lot. It helps with high speed twitchiness but too high and you can't steer!
Controller filter 60 - the other important one, it helps filter the smaller inputs to prevent over sensitivity
Controllerinput mode - doesn't matter if you have advanced activated
Advanced - on
Soft steering damping - on
Visual wheel filtering - on
Opposite lock help - off
Video for the wheel guys. Hopefully he will do a video for the game pad users.

Gizzie- the king is dead. Once SMS plugs in a livery editor for PCars it will be very hard for T10 to beat them.
All it'll need is the ability to place your own number on the car, anything more than that and it'll be a nail in Forza's coffin...
Agreed, but I think that SMS has something more than that planned. Let's hope it comes soon.
Avatar Looks Rather Snappy Snappy!!!!!
P.(arcell)S...OH NOOO!!!....Snappy Gone to the Devil Again???
I will be getting this, as I will be using the controller it could be interesting
