Xbox One

I understand what you mean Lawyer. Just like every other time consoles have evolved game developers initially release games that only scratch the surface of what the hardware is capable of. In time we will see that they will come to push the limits of the hardware's capability. Look at how any of the major franchise games has gotten better. Both graphically and in terms of gameplay experience. It is early still.
While iRacing is an excellent sim it will be vastly different and far more evolved in time.

Do the bold letters mean you are yelling at me from the confines of your home? "MAYBE I WILL DO THAT AND JOIN YOU AND PLAY SOME GT5 " that was me yelling and face turning red. HA HA ! Does GT5 support triple screens? Just kidding!

This interview hints at what I mean by saying that we haven't seen any real "next gen" games yet:
http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/technology-science/technology/xbox-one-next...

GT5 does support triple screen and the bold text was a result of Parcells quoting your post then trying to stop my text from being purple, it was like the blind leading the blind.
If you do join tonight remember I'm creating a public lobby - NOT MY Lobby - Yelled the last few words

I'm starting to get like Church, for some reason this Xbox One quest for answers is getting me really annoyed. It really shouldn't.

What name will the public lobby be . What is the start time.

Looks like Top Gear will be associated with Forza 5

Fitzy...Will it come with the Console?????
Church dude I have spent fortunes on Xbox games, even second hand the popular ones cost upwards of 35 quid here. I have got very recent PC games on sale at ten to fifeteen quid, and older ones for less than a tenner. We are having fun on one that has not cost us a penny. You don't need a second hand market for PC.
If there is no support for my 750 quids worth of wheel and pedals I will not be buying F5, I don't like the Kinnect being on all the time, and I'm willing to bet if you mask the camera it will error.
The thing needs to connect every 24 hours...So what happens when my internet drops? That COD trailer? Coded on a PC and runs at 60fps...on a PC, 30fps on the One. All that TV stuff. well I can already do that with my tv and a couple of remotes and it will only work in the US at launch.
My set up will work on the new PS, it's specs are a little better than the One, more of it's resources are available to the programmers and GT is a game that many folk seem to like...Maybe I might jump ship. My wheel and pedals should work on it out the box.
There are just as many unanswered questions about the console than prior to the reveal, maybe that is to give them time to maybe change some aspects that the community have reacted negatively to but I doubt it.
Seems to me the One is just for people with always on, unlimited data, high speed broadband and deep pockets. If your missing any one of those requirements, your out in the cold.
C'Mon C-Pro you know that's not True...Deep Breaths...Relax and let things play out!!..I'm sure we will STILL have questions months from now!!..No use getting bored at this early date!!!...The Game is Played Every New Release!!....WHATTTTTTTTTTTF!!!!!

The point that there are more questions than before is very true. Even I, the glass half full guy, am getting tired of this uncertainty. I might have to lay off scouring the Internet for more info. Here's to hoping E3 clears up some of the lingering questions.
For me it's very simple I want a games console that plays games. I'm sure all this interfacing and talking and making gestures to my xbox is really cool and I can watch TV and surf the web and Skype someone all at once. Maybe watch a movie while playing with myself as I check my fantasy teams progress. I know Microsoft are trying to make an all in one entertainment box to broaden its appeal and that's fine but don't forget the people who made the xbox what it is i.e the gamers. Give me an xbox that plays great games and make the other one for those who want to do everything the Xbox one does. It's all the extra gadgets that are going to make it more expensive and price me out of getting it. A games console should be a bloody games console the end.
That sounds like a 360?
I honestly doubt Fanatec won't be able to use their wheels on the new system. It should simply be a software reroute.
What I do find unfathomable, is that fanatec didn't get a developers kit and aren't already working on it yesterday? (In other words, the question probably isn't will it work, so much as when will it work?).
BTW wired/wireless...I use a controller, wired, and the difference in control is noticeably better...and I don't have to deal with kids not charging batteries...
Parcells dont know what word is appropriate but unfathomable seems a bit understated for Forza Motorsports OFFICIAL wheel, huge MS/Turn10 face palm.
Wait, I got it!
Although I would love to be wrong, the reality is that the high end Fanatec Forza Motorsport CSR Elite wheel will not work with Forza Motorsport 5, but it will work with Gran Turismo 6 (PS3), 7(PS4) and 8(PS4). Unbelievable...
Also, keep in mind that console makers do not cater to the hardcore folks like us. Rather, their money is made in selling to the controller-using masses. Yes, Gran Turismo and Forza include hardcore elements, but ultimately, they lose money on guys like us. If you want sims that appeal to guys like us, you have to go to the PC.
I also would point out that PC gaming is currently undergoing a true renaissance. I cannot recall a time when PC gaming was as big as it is now. Its almost as if M$ has conceded defeat to the PC in the gaming arena and is instead focusing its attention on the living room. This is the first console transition I can recall where the new consoles from Day 1 will be significantly behind even mid-range PCs in power.
What would really rock is this.
I've heard skype during a game is going to be possibe, but...if I could Google the internet for a car pic, and have it on the screen AND Forza open so I can look at and paint a car at the same time, woohoo! And then, and here's the pay off, instead of a picture of the car, record a 30 second video of the car as the camera pans around it and post that to Flickr...
So, elimination of the T-10 uploading crap, elimination of 3rd party hardware/software for video creation, and hopefully uploading capability to flickr ( big hope here) and I'll be orgasmic.
But, it's still wait and see mode...
I know this, all you crazies running around announcing the sky is falling are gonna stroke out.
As Stewie would say "Chillax, it's all good".
'Ol School...You Dumped the Babe for a Porsche...WHATTTTTTTTTTTF???

There are no real next gen games on PC. We haven't seen real next gen games yet. On any format.
Hmm, not sure I agree buddy. I would call iRacing, rFactor 2, Project CARS and Assetto Corsa "next gen." I also think that the PC versions of Bioshock Infinity, Crysis 3 and other new games are "next gen", because they sport graphics and game play enhancements, such as perfect triple screen play, that are far above what the consoles are offering. Because these games are on PC, we can play them now. The consoles will follow suit in the next few years.
This sucks !
Microsoft: 'Only Xbox One controllers, accessories will work with the new console.'

However, while it isn't explicitly said, Microsoft's statement seems to indicate the Xbox One won't support any Xbox 360 accessories. When asked on Twitter if the new system supports Xbox 360 headsets, Xbox Support reiterated the statement we received, saying, "Only Xbox One accessories will work with Xbox One, which helps us deliver better headset audio and other benefits."
