Thats funny, I had a series planned out to start today at Spa in the GT2 BMW that would have gone from day to night to day yet no one signed up for it so I cancelled it.
My Apologies 3G's...If my mind wasn't wandering with house projects I would of signed up!...Don't Worry...Knowing Snappy if he does set something up it will be 11:59 EST after he has practiced for 2 days for a race at 12:00 EST....
You're relentless. I love it! Now I'll just take even longer to set something up. Lol
Just kidding. I wasn't planning on doing anything. I've started an iRacing career and have become obsessed.
How about the Red Bull Jr car at Spa for 24 laps and we set the time progression for the overnight cycle? Wheels, Spa is relatively well lit so it shouldn't be that bad.
I'll be on tonight after the lobby I have in FM4. Figure to see me at about 11pm EST. Spread the word!

I'd be interested in hopping online at 11pm EST - might not be able to drive a very straight line, but would be interested in racing/bumping some slower cars like Golf V, Mini Cooper, etc.

This! Indy and I ran a bunch of laps and they were a blast!

This car is rock-solid at Spa. The Laps me and GGG were just about identical - we were pretty much glued together the entire time. This car is worthy of a weekly series - preferably not on Saturdays - maybe pick up the Sunday spot once the Mazda series is over. :)
Well, it's on! The Red Bull Jr at Spa.not sure about the specifics (accept that we will be going through the 24 hr time cycle, about an hours worth in real time) so just show up, shut up and race. LOL. See y'all there!
Spa sounds wonderful and so does the Red Bull but because this isn't a sanctioned event and Canada is playing Finland at the same time its unlikely Parcells will make it today. Have fun.

Me Too Parcells...I Had no time to practice...Sat around the last 3 days like a bump on a log doing nothing...Snappy decides at 12:00 A.M....Ran around to stores this morning...Just got back and now the Honey wants me to move furniture around to clean.....WAHHHHH!!

Dont worry guys. You'll have plenty of time to practice since this WILL be the next series once the Mazda is wrapped up.
Plan is to run at Spa, Monza, Silverstone, Le Mans, and some of the other longer tracks. Get your car and start tweaking. The build will be stock but folks will be able to tune a bit.
What I would suggest with the RB Jr is 6 races: Two big tracks (Spa, Le Sarthe, or Silverstone,) two medium-size tracks (Laguna Seca, Monza, etc) one city course (Madrid or Rome,) and then one speedway (either Twin Ring Speedway or High Speed Ring.)
We ran Laguna Seca on Thursday night and it was a hell of a good race - the car handles extremely well there. We also ran High-Speed Ring - you're almost flat-out all the way around except for the two corners right after the bridge. I'd prefer Twin Ring Speedway versus the Ring to add an IndyCar feel to the series, plus it will add a challenge because there's a lot of people here who dont have a lot of oval experience.
Yeah, very rough race for me. I got dive bombed and/or nailed from behind multiple times. I am no longer used to online console multiplier where no holds are barred. Rather, if you dive bomb in iRacing or rFactor, for example, you are going to pay the price in damage to your own car.
I just played it cool on first lap and got by the pile for third. Caught Snoop then was able to get past him a couple laps later. Was running a solid 2nd place. Pitted after lap 12 and saw that Indy was right there with me again. Ironically, I ran off the road with the new tires and dropped to third. Had to answer a call from my momma so I dropped out of the race. Stayed in the lobby to watch the finish though. Thanks for coming out and racing, guys. That's one tough track. Only place to pass is coming out of last turn or going into turn 1.
Gentlemen...My Apology for creating Havoc on the first lap...A Dumb Ass mistake is all it took to get to the rear and cause shit for other people...Hoping I didn't dive bomb you Zero trying to catch up..My Apology if I did...Would be open to damage if the one doing the damaged was the only one penalized...Still don't like running in the dark and rain!
P.(arcell)S...What Happen to Parcells...I thought he was Second??

Your little loopty-loop there was just about impossible to avoid! :) When we came around the last turn you were sideways, then you had it straight, but then it went back sideways again - couldnt tell which way to go. The enitre track was smoked over by the time we got there - guy in front of me jumped off the track to avoid you, but I ended up nose-to-nose with you for about 100 feet - it was kind of funny.
I acually didn't come off too bad - I got straightened out and then jumped behind a line of cars, but as we went up the hill Zero and Parcels got together and I couldn't avoid Parcels' spinning car. That one hurt because it forced me way out into the dirt and I lost a lot time trying to get back on track. Oh well, fun race anyway.
Zero I hope you didn't think I dived bombed you when I got the back of your car. You were having trouble and went a bit off track and was trying to get around your when you came back into the racing line, I had a head of steam by then and could do nothing but try to hit you square by that time. When I was following Wheels I did see some pretty rough driving between you two tho when he was trying to get around you.
Thanks Burnt....I knew one time it appeared rough so I slowed on the home stretch to let him by...But meant no disrespect..I try my best to keep it clean but I do make mistakes!!And I will not add to that comment!
Snappy....I want to Thank You...This Series has become Equal with the Professionals...With accusations and finger pointing...Driver mistakes that are dissapointing...Welcome to the Big Leagues Gentlemen!!!
P.(arcell)S...Zero...If it is OK with Snappy...I am more than Happy to switch points earned for this week race!

Wheels, no one needs to give points back. My main point is that I am not used to console multiplayer racing anymore, where bumping, dive bombing and rear ending folks does not carry significant consequences, as it does in the PC sim racing I do in iRacing and rFactor 2. I myself was over aggressive when following Parcells earlier in the race, resulting in a bump to him that caused him to spin. I waited for him to get the car turned back around and gave the spot back to him as punishment for my reckless driving. I am not suggesting that you do the same, nor do I believe anyone else is required to do the same.
One of the golden rules that iRacing preaches in their training videos is that the car behind is almost always at fault if it hits the car in front. Accordingly, that is why it was my fault when I hit Parcells. If we are going to avoid wreckfests in this series in the future, we might all agree to abide by that golden rule.
Overall I've been quite happy with the level of respectful driving since more GT6 events have been added. We'll never completly avoid it but as long as we keep trying to improve thats all that can be asked.
I beleive yesterday's chaos can be mostly contributed to the terrible starting conditions...Willow spings is a fucken terrible track in the dark....unitl my eyes adjusted I could barely make out the white lines on the side of the track and during practise I completely missed a turn cause I had no fucken idea where the track was. I can't see Parcells ever racing this track in the dark again...it sucks!

Parcells...Rain Too????
Sometimes but not always. On Sunday I was testing some wet tracks for this Thursday night and found some to be too dark (when weather set to high). Spa and Brands Hatch were great but Silverstone and Suzuka were too dark for Parcells liking.

Can you throw at least one oval on there - Twin Ring would be fun. Make it like IndyCar series a bit.
Indy.....And throw out Monza...Track is a disaster for these cars...Throw in Daytona Road Course!!...Bigger Tracks
What about that Caterham series Snappy?
I'm still planning on doing it but after the RB Jr. I can't run two series right now.
Sure You Can Snappy!!!!....I Got Faith in the Snappy!!!

OHHH OHHHHH....Practiced up at Willow for about 10 laps...Flipped the Car 5 Times.....WHATTTTTTT????
Dissappointing race today at Willow. See you all next week.
Rough track and rough start tot he race. That said, here are the results/standings
