We're a tough group to offend and as has been said we have no wish to dominate the trending list...just two of our threads there now but during times of high activity it will probably happen again. Agreeing with the friendly panda dude?...yeah even I have done it once or twice LOL

OK, having read all the posts: Money I can send, posting on main forum I can do. Having a business plan for times of expansion and for a market downturn is vital. Know your efficiencies and don't over expand beyond your ability to pay the bills. But 2o2p does have bills, hard to imagine? Marketing: I get we need to tout our wares, but profanity in podcasts has to go. It has been a year since I listened to one, and this is not new news to Doodi & company. Keep profanity in the CLAN, not as an advertising tool for the general 2o2p site. In case this has already been done, thank-you.

I started gaming in 2005 and found this site in 2006. It was advertised by "guys" who promoted family gaming. I liked that. I did not join in 2006 because I was too busy and I did not think anyone would want a low-skills gamer on board. Years later, I now have more time and my skills have improved a little bit. I joined the site and it took me some months lurking and trial and error in clanology to find the right clans. If I can help improve that process, especially for newer gamers, tell me how. Now, I live with a mostly non-gamer who will not understand why I have to pay a fee for membership to several clans. CLANS are family, but not my only one. Doodi is right, clans are not the problem. Leave them alone.

This site has always seemed tolerant of a clan member who goes dark when absorbed in a game, and may surface later to read the posts. Changing the V2 to V3 caused me to also "go down". With most tech probs past I hope I can urge my shyer self to post on the main forums and to read and listen to site offerings and volunteer where needed. No more MOLE clan for me. Err, except when I go dark with Skyrim or Spec Ops, oh Spec Ops!   266

Just tryin' to think of something...oh, yeah, posting more in the main forum and also sporting my sweet GT around on XBL- just for you, Doodi33

I don't want to be a Debbie Downer on this potential feature but it's not confirmed to be anything like what we had in Halo 2.

So far there has just been a vague comment about organizing friend lists. Could such a feature be used to assists Group memberships, maybe. Or maybe it just allows you to organize the friends you already have into group lists like the current Active Roster in REACH.

If this new feature in Halo 4 does exist, as some people want to be, it's my opinion the word Clan won't be mentioned anywhere. Functionally, it may make no difference what it is called.

We won't know for sure...but everything I have read so far leads to a complete adoption of the clan structure.  Evidenced by the direction of Modern Warfare, Battlefield, etc.  Integration of a premium service that promotes social structure.  Integration of social media linking.  Clan challenges, clan ranks etc.

It's the way of the FPS future.  But...we will see!

Organization features that go beyond my own FL would be great. I could have one for the Over 40 Tournament, Over Age 50 Group and even the Site Wide Halo night.

All it will do is have clans versus the public.  I highly doubt Site clans vs clans will happen.  People are too concerned with "ranking up" and getting their barbie dress up armor.  They also don't like to get beat and rather take their chances against random timmies.  It's the way games have been for years now and it's a shame.  When I first  joined the site, I played Rainbow Six:Vegas with a full room of 2o2p'ers every night.  16 people in a private server.  Ever since MW came out with ranks and prestige, private rooms became rare.

The most official information I've been able to find on the potential feature is this comment.

"improved support to create, organise and track groups".

It was acquired by members of the XBLive Expert Zone. No 343i employee has commented on it yet, as far as I know. That can mean either really good news or really bad news.

Couldnt agree more.  The FPS genre has really turned into Us Vs Them when it comes to the mulitplayer scene. Matchmaking replaced any need for Customs you can't rank up within them.  I also think the idea of being defeated plays into it as well.  People would rather lose to a bunch of randoms or blame it on LAG then hear about it in the forums the next day here.  Sucks for sure, but I don't know that there is any way to change that.

Really, against an oversized butter knife, 12 gauge Mossberg would be plenty...my neighbor owns a small shop and gets great deals on the local Sheriff's office's "used" Mossberg's, which mostly do nothing but ride around in the cars...

Says you. Any you other clans want to have a clan challenge or tourney, send me a PM. Never much did give a good goddamn about the ranks. Personally, some of the best times I ever had around this place involved smack talking with the other clans and teams.

Also, we still play customs every chance we get (H3 more than Reach because Reach sucks).

How about allowing you to rank up in custom matches? I know they never will because people will boost and abuse the system, but it annoys me that they force you to play MM in order to rank up.

Well, technically it's still discussing clans...but it probably has to do with I'm scarier.

I'm physically imposing...but in person I would imagine the sword wielding Knight would win.  I have one up on you though in the bat shit crazy department.

I'm definitely a scorched earth kind of person.100
