Maybe I should start saying I'm an egalitarian, it's less of a four letter word. So I researched both climate change and the gold standard in depth, and they are simple compared to fractional reserve banking and it's impact on the M2 money supply with further relevance to the QED 2 and 3. I've been particularly interested in the us treasury market and the consolidation of the global liquidity markets for the central banks and the largest commercial financial institutions. I think this all ties together but I am starting to feel like the crazy cop that won't let that cold case go because he feels that a mass conspiracy is going on yet I don't think it's a conspiracy unless I can find a tie to Kevin Bacon or Jack Bauer.

Somebody call the cops. There's a new drug on the street.
I tell ya, I love Neverwinter, but I cannot wait to play Halo with my friends from this site again. Can. Not. Wait.
Well I finally got hubby to buy himself a decent vehicle! It is the first time EVER he's had a daily driver that's less than 15 years old. It took a lot of fighting but it finally happened.
Now he's bugging me to finally buy myself some new clothes. We'll see. I thought about going shopping next week but Halo is coming out...I don't need new clothes to play halo!
We compromised: went to Old Navy and bought $400 worth of clothes for $200. They're having a RIDICULOUS sale. Hubby even got a jacket and a few shirts. Now unless I have to go to a wedding or some shit, I can go another decade without buying clothes.
I had some pozole for lunch that was so good I felt a little high after. Wish I could make it that good.
Hey peeps, glad to see things still happening not so glad to read about the various miseries...Been slacking I admit, but I was away in the UK for a while, had been booked for a weekend event and decided to go on a bit of a road trip each side of it. First a wander around Wales, no plan, just head anywhere took our fancy. Then to the event, and the last few days spent with some friends we had not seen for...hmm over 15 years.
Aside from that the new Studio kit all arrived and much time spent getting to know my way around it. It's amazing how things have changed over the last decade or so, the power at my fingertips is incredible and the latest versions of the software I use have really moved on.
Part of the plan when the new kit was in and I had got a passing familiarity was to go back to some material I was working on with a sadly passed songwriting partner. That has been no easy task, aside from the headache of getting some very old multitrack files into the new computer and running under the new software...It's also been kinda hard to work listening to the voice of a lost brother, we were as close as blood brothers (something his real brother acknowledged at the time of his passing) So it's like constantly picking at a half healed wound...So that is what has been taking my time. Just taking a break from trying to work out exactly why a certain song is all out of sync after importing it, none of the others were, but this one is all over the place, none of the tracks lining up at all, and hours of tweaking has made no difference...well it's closer but no cigar. Head is just fried over it. I have promised his kids that I will finish what I can and get copies to them, but damn, we were in the middle of going back to square one with many of them, so much missing and sketched parts it's taking a lot of time and energy.
Still Mrs Knight and I are off for ten days winter sun on Fuerteventura next month. A chance to recharge the batteries. We are booked into an adult only hotel so no screaming brats to spoil our piece and quiet.
Well it's back to the studio and more head scratching I guess...
Was wondering what that sticky stuff was. Glad to see you were active and enjoying yourself in your posting absence Knight.
Cheers Old, yeah it's been a mix of fun and frustration, but in a good way. Looking forward to the holiday though, been over three years since Mrs Knight and myself have got away for a real holiday...and to get away from these unremitting grey skys...bleedin great :)
Awesome Knight! The Mrs and I have a bit of business down in Ft. Lauderdale just after the first. I plan to stick my toes in the sand just cause I can.
It's nice for a change isn't it Sherb? Lol Normally I just jump in here to bitch about stuff. Now if you'll excuse me, I need more Coke, M&Ms, and Halo!
Good news -- Knee doing fine now. Pain that I had 24/7 since July is gone and surgical pain is almost gone, to the extent that I don't need pain pills now to get a good night's rest.
Bad news -- Found out today that a biopsy on my lower left leg taken by my Dermatologist on the day before my surgery came back positive for a squamous cell tumor. It will be removed next week in the Doctor's office.
I may have said this before, but I can't wait for this effing year to be over with.
The Ring of Liberals?
Must be something we can call it.
I think it's the tail...

Fractional reserve banking is a crime and a conspiracy...and there's always a link to Kevin Bacon...

I know you won't read it, but I thought I show you what I feel asleep reading the other day.
What new drugs? My knee is starting to hurt and I am not going to get my own pills for a couple of hours dammit.
We need to wait until Free comes down from his high so he can fill us in on this crazy new drug he found.
My bet is he found it during a walkabout somewhere on his plantation.
Huey Lewis and the News?

BTW Knight, good to know you're alive...
It's life Jim but not as we know it...and holy crap so we have. Well done folks, we really are part of the fixtures and fittings.
