What did you pick up Knight? Got me an ESP LTD F-50 from a local pawn shop I used to have a Washburn BT-2 back in HS, but sold that shortly before my daughter was born. Could play a little back then, starting all over now. Picked up RockSmith to help with that. Also got my daughter a Squire mini for Christmas.

I got a Chapman ML-1 in vintage finish. Picked it up in the Black Friday sales. It's the second Chapman I have bought, the other was his Signature Ghost Fret. Have to say I am very impressed with his range and ethos. Both guitars stand up very well to my Gibson, PRS and Fender, each costing more and in the case of the Gibson considerably more.
Those Squire minis are great, really good to see these starter electric guitars for kids that are actually decent and playable. For so long the only options were dodgy acoustics that were as likely to put someone off. Parenting done right! :)
That Project Scorpio (Xbox) is looking pretty dang good. 4K everything, even in the game DVR. I hope the price isn't too outrageous. I've been saving up for it and a 4K HDR TV. http://www.windowscentral.com/project-scorpio/home
Well folks, been a while. Since I left the Forza folks for PC racing and attempts to get that going here were patchy at best...Well, other places beckoned. Mostly musical. So what brings me back? Well for a start I kinda miss the place, and for another, the recent upgrade to a serious gaming rig to power my Oculus rift has kinda reawakened my interest in things other than racing. So wondering anyone else here into VR? What if you are are the games that rock your boat?
I'm staying away from VR until it's good and ripe and cheap. I'm going 4K with Project Scorpio for now. Apparently Forza looks pretty good on it BTW. That's enough adventure for now.
Looks pretty good to me and racing with it is a whole new experience, though I hear you on the cost. Ditching the triple screens has also freed up a ton of space. I'll sell off the old triple screen set up to offset the cost of the oculus. It's a perfectly good gaming rig just not quite up to running rF2 in VR though other games seemed okay at medium settings. She who must be obeyed is also getting a kick out of it, so that is a good thing and very entertaining to watch.

Hi friends. Is it time to retire these boards? It's a ghost town.
Does seem a little on the quiet side. Guess it's up to the founders. Destiny crew seem to be fairly active. Taken over from Forza it seems.
I'm digging that Star Trek Discovery series so far. I'm thinking we won't see it's true colours until episode 3.
Goodnight, sweet thread.
