No, you are correct. I can differentiate between a stiff shaft and an extra stiff staff just by touching it. Therefore, you can rely upon my expert opinion when I inform you that you are playing with a very soft senior shaft, almost a ladies model. However, this is to be expected when dealing with older guys, such as yourself, and is nothing to be ashamed of.

I've been contemplating composite materials to perhaps enhance my game, as it were.

Oh they go around corners, you just  have to possess a modicum of driving skill...and there may be screeching and tire smoke involved. Practice makes perfect, Knight...you'll learn how to turn one day, so don't despair.

Colonial would imply that we're still under British rule, we've managed to rule ourselves for a couple of hundred years now. How's Ireland doing with that whole serving the English thing? Maybe England will let you build a car someday.

Nicely independant thank you, but governed by Dickheads. You may be thinking of Northern Ireland. But as your Texan and American I'll forgive your ignorence. Oh and we were never invaded by the English. If you want to dip your toe in those waters read a little history. 53

Well if the best you can do is pick on a dyslexics spelling and suggest he reads what we like to call here, a dictionary, you have reached the bottom of the barrel...Or conveniently glossing over ignorance of the subject in hand :P By the way for casual observers of this thread Jones and I do this all the time and there is no animosity in our sniping...well...not much LOL Mind you, you know your Beer Jones :)

Yeah, it's Friday and I'm on empty...the heat's making me lazy. It's true, I am not especially familiar with Irish history but I will catch up later tonight by watching a potato documentary. There's only two kinds of books in Texas: reading books and spelling books. Texans generally don't bother with either.

A Lucas refrigerator.

Doesn't Lucas make oil? I thought the warm beer had more to do with Pasteurization, although as Knight pointed out I'm not exactly a history buff. We cook our beer, which makes it taste like shit if it's not refrigerated. That's why Mexican beer still tastes good when it's warm...it's not Pasteurized. I gotta give props to the English on their beer...that shit is good as fuck. But Irish whiskey sucks.

An excelent question! Yes Lucas makes oil but that is an American owned company founded by Forrest Lucas that produces a world class product. It is in no way related to the now defunct English company, Lucas Industries founded by Joesph Lucas(the prince of darkness) that made substandard electrical components.

The truth about beer is that chilling masks bitter flavors better. Large conglomerate beer makers in the US use the absolute shittiest ingredients(Budweiser/PBR/Coors). The Pilsners are especially known for this but if you had a craft quality pils it would still be good at a warmer tempature. Most British men prefer to drink a darker beer(and wear womens clothing) so due to the ale's supperior quality, it can be enjoyed at a higher temp. Americans do make craft beers and this has really come on strong in the last decade. Many are fast aproaching good quality English Ales.

As far as Mexican beer, what they send here is not really the same thing they drink down there. Take Corona, if it says Extra on the label then you are drinking piss. However Corona Familiar is a whole new game. It is darker and smoother. Ice cold it is very good and as it gets warmer, still ok to drink.

I'm going to quit using Google and just post my questions in here for LocGaw to answer.

Well, I am a service expert by trade. So natually I drink alot. I take my drinking very seriously and I especially love my ales. I drink alot of English style ales and some IPAs. That is not to say I don't enjoy a good pils or stout every now and again.

It just so happened that you combined the two things I knew about into one post. Out side of that, I am screwed...

Good morning everyone(from my office computer)!
