Week 9!!!!! Holy crap I cant believe it. Ok that leaves only 4 more weeks till H3 hits the Earth!!! This week I made some progress on one of the earliest pencil pieces I posted. I started coloring the Cortana Gravemind portrait. Its not complete yet, I would say about half done, but I thought you all might want to see how its progressing.:-) I also did a new pencil sketch for a Halo 3 Montage illustration.

I cant believe its already Week 8! This project has really made the wait for Halo 3 for me go by much faster. So thanks to all those who have been following my posts and providing comments and encouragement, its really kept me committed to it. :-) Instead of obsessing about the wait I am too busy focusing on trying to get this weeks post done :lol: :lol: I wanted to start coloring some of the earlier pieces and finish them up. I was able to get started but it meant I wasn't able to do a new original piece for this week.

I cant believe its already Week 8! This project has really made the wait for Halo 3 for me go by much faster. So thanks to all those who have been following my posts and providing comments and encouragement, its really kept me committed to it. :-) Instead of obsessing about the wait I am too busy focusing on trying to get this weeks post done :lol: :lol: I wanted to start coloring some of the earlier pieces and finish them up. Week 7and work hasn't let up any yet. So this weeks piece is another rough pencil. This time The Master Chief and Cortana are riding out the storm in one of the new H3 Bubble Shields. Oh and also that weapon is supposed to be the new Spartan Laser. :-) The background is based off the new H3 version of Zanzibar and that Wreath will be the H3 double turret version. :-)

As always comments and crits are encouraged and any suggestions for next week are welcome. :-) Thanks everyone and I'll see ya back here next week for week #8.

Week 6 didn't get started till this afternoon. :-( Last week was hell here but this week was hell on fire :lol: So needless to say a second week where I wasn't able to bring the piece to color, AARRGGG! Oh well my goal here is simply to create "something: new each week and Im afraid this week a pencil rough will have to be it again. Like the other pieces not yet colored I am committed to finishing them all so dont give up on them or me, and keep checking back :-)

First off big thanks to all the wonderful comments and crits last week. The revised color is much better on the Brute Chieftain and it wouldn't have happened without all your great suggestions. It goes to show that there is always room to improve, if your willing to listen. :-) Thanks.
