When I created this weeks Halo art post I intended for the piece to have a single color harmony. Im not sure what thats called, which is pretty pathetic for an artist to admit :lol: but I wanted it to be one over all color story. Much like the Arbitor illo of week #1. I think it came off close to what I was shooting for and I was pretty happy with it. However, a number of your posted in the comments that I should try separating the figure and the Hammer from the background more. I got a little time late tonight to come back to it and mess around with it and I am posting the revised version.

Week 4 and its one of the bad guys! :-) I never thought much of the Brutes in H2, they seemed stupid and not very threatening at all. They sure seem upgraded in H3 from what we have seen. So in honor of their growing some .. ah...Brute Balls :-) I decided to take a shot at illustrating a Chieftain.

Ok week #2. Its been a hell week for me so I wont be posting a full color piece today. Pencils only :-( However I will color this piece because I like how its coming out so Ill be adding to one of the upcoming weeks but Ill do it as an addition because I want a completely different piece every week or Im cheating. :-)

I got some requests last week for Cortana. So I decided to have her be this weeks subject matter, but I thought that it would be cool to tie it too Halo 3 by posing here wrapped in the Gravemind. Seemed appropriate with the ending of Halo 2
