This week i picked up a new Graphic Novel that just came out called "Pride of Baghdad" I can not recommend enough this beautifully illustrated, wonderfully written, 136 page artistic and political feast. I decided to dip into it a few pages the first night i got it. I got into bed around 12:30am and opened it up. 30 minutes later I shut the whole 136 pages closed. It was like a starving man who sat down at a thanksgiving meal and new that he should take it easy the first meal, but once started couldn't stop.

BioRod is still my hero :-), but The Bat has found another to join the ranks of my list of Heroes and his name is Keith Olberman!!

In all the other madness and distraction over the last couple years I hadn't even thought about this aspect of our governments neglect. I find it so very sad. However, it is extremely refreshing to hear some one on main stream media for the first time truly standing up for the people and for the country and talking truth to power.

Been a while since I posted too Bats Blog. Thought it was time to get back to it. So before i continue my tradition of assaulting the community with a constant barrage of liberal thought and political ranting, I figured a little art would be appreciated :-)

Often members of the site express to me that they enjoy seeing the process by which i create a piece and the various preliminary works that are created in the process. I thought this months cover for the 2O2P Magazine would be a great one to breakdown for people and to share.

Picked this up from over at Americablog.com Its nice to see a Democrat finally talking truth to power for a change in the chambers of our government.

Rep. Rahm Emanuel (D-IL) offers a few more lessons learned: " Mr. Speaker, yesterday the President said we continue to be wise about how we spend the peoples money. Then why are we paying over $100,000 for a White House Director of Lessons Learned? Maybe I can save the taxpayers $100,000 by running through a few of the lessons this White House should have learned by now.

All right enough freaking politics for a while. At least till King George and his band of Merry Republicans does something incredibly stupid or harmful again.....shit thatll probably be tomorrow! :lol: :lol: Anyway I promised earlier today to post some art so here are the initial pencil sketches and developmental pieces for the illustrations done for this months 2O2P Magazine. Also Im posting up the cover illustration which was a collaboration with Darth Cestual from the OMM, because its nice to see it without all the type over it.
