X06 - Totally Awsome news MS Wants YOU

As anyone seeing the 2old2play front page or the dozens of posts in the Xbox area, X06 has really tons of news that is exciting and jaw dropping.. such as

New Arcade games, new PC and 360 games, exclusive games (Splinter Cell OMG) and content (GTA IV).. but the big news is also from Tokoyo Game Show, the Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssye games are looking awsome.

Direct 2 Drive online game download service

After many months of wondering if this service was going to be good or lame or even a major rip off, I decided to jump in and buy one of my favorite Role Playing Games of all time, Deus Ex.  Only 9.99 USD so its worth every penny even tho it is a 6 year old game.

E3 RULES!! Xbox360 Wins for sure

I am really enjoying this years E3, with the Nintendo Wii, DS, Xbox 360, PC games, and PS2 games.. it is great.

What no PS3 listed in my list? Nope. Totally dissapointed.  I admit im a fan boy, of games. I love all game systems out now, and most of the hand helds. PSP I bought on day 1, and really didnt find it fun, but pathetic after several months waiting for good games to come, not ports of games I own already for the PS2.

Final Review

Oblivion Final Review

“…and close shut the gates of Oblivion.”

Well Captain Picard, I did, and your son, you know Boromir from Lord of the Rings is a cool guy. If not a little sorrowful.

My overall impressions from this game are that it is a fantastic world full of life and adventure and really easy to play. While I rushed through the main quest, I am going back to do every other quest I can before starting again.

It is really an amazing game, I cannot for a single second think of not continuing it.

After 9 hrs

After 8 err scratch that 9 hour review (Yes the game is that easy to become lost in)

Ok so after my four hour review (see my previous blog) I have a few changes to make.

Graphically the game is a bit better, from the snow top peaks, to the lush deep forests, to the valleys with flowers and bears.. the Sound is better, I admit I was a bit hard on it and it deserves an extra point to 9/10.

Around hour 5 (but I am exploring everywhere), I entered Oblivion (Games version of HELL) for the first time, and it is great, not really what I expected, but was cool.

Four Hour - Review

Here is my first review of Oblivion after 4 hours of play.

Ok if you don’t have a High Def TV... Go buy one. In non High Def mode the game is ok, but pales compared to High Def.

Let us talk about the game, its good and bad points, its features, and its pain in the ass things… First off let us get the bad out of the way.

I for at least a short time more work with this insane woman who I guess told people she was 19, but is 40 with 3 kids and married, after telling people no kids, no husband...

My Plan for Oblivion

You have a plan for Oblivion as well. Dont you?

Well basically my plan is to spend 4 hours a day minimum playing Oblivion, and in 2 weeks (April 1st) I might take a 2 week vacation from work and play this steady.

Monday to Friday - 4 hours each day Saturday to Sunday = 6-8 hours each day

With that I beleive I can really see the game and get alot of the content finished.

Since taking a month off work wont really help me, this is the best plan I can do for the game.
