Freaking damn good..

The game in question is System Shock 2 and after finding patches for XP and such I got the game installed, and started playing it.

Now if you have not played System Shock 2, you missed out on what is considered the greatest PC game of all time. A FPS / RPG Hybrid (the first real one) that actually scarred people so bad they stopped playing it. People who are scared of spiders actually complained due to the scary spiders in the game so much that some people made a patch to remove them.

Here it is.. finally reviewed and close to coming out.. Kratos second adventure looks awesome, full of violence, epic battles, boobs, and well boobs...

I hate those words "On Hold" when it comes to video game development because 99.99% of the time it means the game will never be returned to. But with the current state of XNA (lacking polish, multiplayer, etc) and working on a Xbox 360 game being more important then just a game, we have shelved it. To work on a puzzle game, in 2D or 2.5D with single player and eventually multiplayer.

Several times over the last few months from my living room (where I work from during the day for sunlight and door answering) I have seen someone looking in my front window. Several times I move to open the door, 8 ft away (so 3 steps) and by the time I do, he is gone. No one on the side of the house, no one walking away (can see a wide area)..

Ill admit that I hate most fighters, but Tekken was the first fighter I really liked, and played the sequels to. But the last few Tekkens have sucked IMO and went more towards the cheap victories of DOA, which are rampant in vs CPU play. I have hopes for this one, since they are not trying to change things but take it back to the beginging with game play.

Looks nice as well. Question is, will it be worth buying? I hope they have a demo soon.
