Another one of my heros has died, Milton Friedman the Nobel prize winning economist died yesterday November 16 2006 at age 94.

Milton was the founder of the "Chicago School" of economics his  "school" was based on free trade  , Markets and monetary policy.  Milton was an icon to us ,his believers and a truer  defender of capitalism you would not find.

True story, I was once kicked out of an Ecomomics class by a socialist professor  for the offense of quoting Milton during my response to the professors question.

The man might be gone but his legacy lives on.

Yes! The Oakland Raiders defeated the Hated Pittsburgh Steelers 20-13 on Sunday! Thanks for the interceptions Big Ben, maybe you should stick to motorcycles.  What fun it was to be surround by Steeler fans while watching Oakland choke the life out of the "Stillers"

Lonewolf's blog got me thinking about my game buying habits. When I think about it many times I truly buy a game just for the sake of buying a game. I bought X-Men Legends II months ago and have yet to play it. Painkiller was last month and it hasn't even been unwrapped. I have plenty of games that I've played one or two times and that's it.

Why do I do this? Best reasons I can figure out are:

Had my first fantasy football draft of the Season Saturday so of course I had to come down with a cold/ allegeries last week as well.  For having the last pick in the draft I did rather well with my picks and have a decent team. In a change of pace I took Antonio Gates in the First round 8th overall. As I announced the pick I could hear Dr. Plauge in my mind cheering on the Charger pick while taunting me for not having the guts to take Oakland Raiader Lamont Jordan.

Well this edition of the blog is filled with fake football thoughts. It's Fantasy & Madden 07 time in the world of Dawnfades.

The title says it all. This is a no holds barred rant against all of the whiny Price Gouging threads & posters. You know the ones, "Market Place price of "X' is price gouging. Microsoft & developer "Y'" are ripping us off. You can't go a week without seeing one on 2o2p and almost all of the other gaming sites. Hell there's one on the homepage right now about Chromehounds.

Well the 1st week of the hell known as Steeler training camp has passed. I work and live about 10 miles from Latrobe the home of the Pittsburgh Steelers training camp. So everywhere it's black and gold this welcome Steelers that. Hell in my store the Steeler SuperBowl XL cars just arrived. The Steelers are always the lead story on the Local TV and Radio stations. Thanks to reports every hour on the hour I can tell you what Hines Ward is eating for dinner.

After just finishing unloading 30+ boxes of an order for my shop off of a UPS truck in the 92+ heat its time for a High Fidelity type list

Syd Barrett the founder of Pink Flyod has died today at the age of 60. Syd was and will always be one of my musical heroes and one of the biggest influences on my music style. A troubled genuis for sure but he certainly deserved more respect from the music world.

Rest Well Syd, You will be missed.

Last Thursday Night I had to end a fun time of being massacred in COD2(27 deaths, Thanks Umbee Capt ,PDT etc) to go out to dinner. The dinner actually was an excuse to get me to be a wingman. Now long story short dinner is over and we move over to the brewery part for some more drinks. I pull out my wallet and pay for the round when my "date" grabs my wallet out of my hands and starts going over it. I cant believe how rude this "woman" is but Im trying to be polite and I would never grab a woman no matter what. So she see my EB Edge cardand asks what it is.
