The surgery went well, but given her health/medical background, they are keeping her in the hospital for 5-7 days. When I got there, Dad was in the waiting room with the pastor of his church. We went to her room and were there when they brought her in from recovery. While waiting, Dad commented he was freezing to death, as he had worn shorts, not knowing that she would be going to surgery. I went to a nurse and asked for a quilt, then took it to my Dad and told him I had gone into a random room and wrestled it away from another patient. It made him laugh, which made me feel good.

I just got word my stepmom is undergoing surgery. Apparently they nicked her colon during the removal of three polyps. She is a cancer survivor and has had medical problems in the past. I'm on my way to the hospital. Please say a quick prayer for her. Her name is Janice.

To begin with, I'm a big time college football fan. The first game I played on the 180 was NCAA Football. In fact, that's ALL I played for the longest. This was before I got on Live and discovered the joys of being curbstomped, blown up, sniped, etc. I think that was 2006.

So, I'm in the process of setting up my game room/office. It was formerly the "bird room", which meant that with two parrots and a macaw, that's about all it was good for. Birds are cool, but they are dirty. I got the new TV, the new area rug, the entertainment center, and yesterday I spent some time emptying a desk that was in there collecting dust. I found some new tools I had gotten for Christmas and had forgotten about. The next step is to move the PC and all the components.

I set up my 32" Vizio TV yesterday. Before I forget to mention it, the customer service these people provide is unreal. I had some difficulties getting the thing set up (understatement), so I called technical support. A very patient young lady spent at least twenty minutes with me, walking me through, step by step. I asked her to forward me to a supervisor so I could report her efforts. I don't do that unless warranted. After dealing with Microsoft, Dell, and others, it was a total surprise. Imagine that, tech support that doesn't make you feel like an idiot.
