What makes you think I want to buy your crap??

Well, its been a while since I stunk up the blog zone with my prattle, but that doesn't mean I don't check out others blog posts daily  to see what is transpiring in  the 2old2play multiverse. Today  I see the infamous multiple  "no pic" icons in the top seven blog posts. Yet again, another spamshit has slithered up out of the muck of the interswamp to hawk knock off purses, shoes or other assorted sweatshop tripe clevelrly hidden amongst rambling blocks of text copy pasted from other sources.  So I ask this; does anyone actually buy this stuff when it's posted here?

Portal 2

Yesterday I picked up Portal 2 and said goodbye to Homefront. I started playing after dinner and had to make myself stop to get some sleep so I could go to work today. If you played Portal when Half Life 2 came out and liked it, you really need to play this sequel. If you haven't played Portal but like a smart , humorous and somewhat quirky game, you can still enjoy this but a lot of the story and inside jokes may not make sense.

I Really Tried,But...

I tried to like Homefront and there are parts of it I do like but overall, it just isn't working. I was willing to wait to see if the developer would fix the issues involving multiplayer but, even with the latest patch, it still has too many issues. I was playing last night and the longer I played, the less I enjoyed it  until I hit a point where I asked myself, Why? Why am I letting this game make me so angry? and then, that was it. I finished my last match, took it out of the xbox and put it back in its case. Done. I don't have any urge to play it again.

Well, that didn't go too well

The other day I made the mistake of trying to post a blog about a videogame without resorting to name calling, insults or wishing death and destruction on all involved. I even said right at the beginning, if you think this is another rant it isn't.

It was just my observations about a game that's it. I made ONE simple comment right at the end about not busting the developers chops because I don't know anything about programing games and that apparantly was the ONE THING that irritated some people.

So.. right off the bat..

Homefront.....

DISCLAIMER

If you are expecting a tirade of complaints or a call for a Pox on the house of THQ then you will be dissapointed. I think the whole "die in fire" thing is a little immature.

Fall out New Vegas : Fini

The Battle of Hoover Dam is over and the courier has headed into the sunset. Fallout New Vegas finished with the  No Gods or Masters ending. I prefer Vegas to be independent. Overall, I liked the game even with the freezes and other minor bugs.  I hate to compare it to Fallout 3, which I actually liked more, but this game is pretty good too. The DLC Dead Money on the other hand was so so. I personally didn't like it and I don't like that you can't leave or go back whereas with Fallout 3 DLC you can.
