My feelings on color

This information is from freshome.com

How colors affect the feeling of a room.

RED
Red raises a room's energy level.  It's a good choice when you want to stir up excitement, particularly at night.  In the living room or dining room, red draws people together and stimulates conversation.  In an entryway, it creates a strong first impression.  Red has been shown to raise blood pressure, speed respiration and heart rate.

I DID IT!

I finally finished Call of Duty 2.  Granted it was on normal, but I DID IT!  I spent four hours yesterday playing the last two missions.  Now, my mission is to finish call of duty 3.  I think I have three missions left. Then on to Call of Duty 4:Modern Warfare.

You know you are an Aging Gamer when

You have to turn on the closed captioning to understand the voice overs in a game.

What others can you come up with?

Respect

I read an article the other day about two 10 year olds (boy and girl) who were involved in a sex act IN CLASS.  Of course, the parents are up in arms saying there should have been more supervision.  Wait, what?  Alright this isn't new, sadly enough.  What caught my eye was the statement about self-respect.  If these kids had any self-respect this situation may not have occurred.  Hmm.  Self-respect.  Isn't that the same or similar to self-esteem?  Isn't that the whole point of not grading in red ink or giving failing grades?  Is this movement failing?

New Food

I recently tried Thai food and loved it.  Dastard had tried previously to get me to go but I had visions of hot curry and the aftermath of spending time in the bathroom.  Well, that is just a small realm of what Thai food is.  I opened the menu and found stir fry and entrees that sounded very tasty and although similar to what Chinese food might be, a tad different ingredients.

For those with kids

My mother sent me this and I thought all those with kids would appreciate it.
