I'm having a small pity party for myself today.  I see the first three days full of blech that will be a drain on my wallet.  Today, took car into Honda so THEY could diagnose my air conditioner compressor being capooot.  I have to have this done before they can offer assistance with its replacement.  They will also be looking at my rear differential that my other mechanic said was nothing.  Of course, Honda is saying if I had brought my car into them at 30,000 miles, they could have checked this.  IF the RD is the problem.  I shall find out tonight how much I love my Honda dealer.  Not lookin

Yesterday I had my annual mammogram (or boob sammich) and ultrasound.  Two years ago the results showed a lump on the left.  Went in to have a sonogram and the radiologist declared it was a fibroadenoma.  Fine, but as far as I'm concerned, that is not a definitive diagnosis.  While fibroadenomas do show distinctive characteristics the only way to be sure is to have a biopsy performed.  Ok, the appointment was set and I was on the table ready for the procedure.  The conducted another sonogram to guide the needle etc.  They couldn't find it.  WTH?  Ok, I go home and really am relieved.  Mostly b

Watching "Blade" at 4 am and listening to the characters talk of being able to regenerate and live forever.  Then the commercial break is for the "Hooveround" and watching a group of seniors zooming (and I use that term loosely) around with the grandmas in matching baby blue cardigans and the grandpas in matching baby blue pattern shirts.

Does anyone else see something wrong with this?
