Watch out Ali!

I have signed up for boxing lessons.  Noncontact boxing.  (don't want to scar my lovely aging face now.  They start tomorrow night twice a week.  Updates on my progress will be forthcoming later this week.  Good thing is they won't interfere with my gaming nights of Tuesday (Shadowrun) or Thursday (COD2).  Now I know my clan mates are probably shaking their heads wondering where I've been the last week or so.  I'm actually working.

Psyche

I know that was mean of me to put up the dog's pic instead of my own, but hey, it is a woman's perogative to change her mind, so there.  I prefer my anonymity on the net.  Besides, I like my big sweetie.  That particular picture was taken in December during her physical therapy after she had her hip surgery.  The clinic has an underwater treadmill that the dogs walk on and it helps take the pressure off of their joints and allow freer movement.  It allowed her to get some exercise and strengthen her muscles over

Hmmm

Day two of this assignment completed and I really don't have much to show from this. My two new co-workers seemed diligently going over material, but not writing much down. I'm going to have a hard time writing a report from empty pages. Yesterday was a loooonnnggg day. 0600 until 1700 with maybe a 15 minute break. By the time I got home, I was tired and my lower back ached so much that I just wanted to lie down. Dastard even offered to play a game of Shadow run and I declined.

Tired

For those who have had shoulder surgery or lost the use of your dominant arm for a period of time, I salute you!  I have been watching Don struggle to do everyday things with his right arm strapped to his side and although he is managing, it isn't easy.  No, I didn't butt in unless he was having a difficult time with something, like a childproof cap on his medicine bottles (damn things anyway) and he is managing.  I finally got him home last night around 8 pm after getting his meds from the pharmacy.  The doctor gave him a script for oxycodone and he took one last night and he was out.  He sai
