My sister-in-law to be and I have been hanging out quite a bit lately. Her wedding is coming up in a couple of months and she has had to plan this entire wedding completely on her own. No help from her parents, no advice, nothing. I volunteered to help out with anything she needed when I found out how stressed she was about this whole thing. She is a super sweet person. So, I have been doing odds and ends to help get this show on the road (so to speak). The other night we were looking for music for the reception.

…..to blog today! Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. Our day was hectic but fun. We watched fireworks Tuesday night. My daughter loved them, however, my son wasn’t so keen on the loud “boom’s”. Yesterday was the parade and the communities little 4th of July celebration. As I told you before my daughter was in the “Little Miss Firecracker” contest. She got Honorable Mention. There were some pretty cute ideas. I’ll post some of the pictures. Personally (I know, I am biased…I am her mother after all) but the first and third place winners were not the best ones there.

I spent the entire weekend running from one house to another for BBQ’s and picnics. I enjoy my friends and family, but when you don’t get a moment to yourself the whole weekend it sure does suck! Weekends like this make Mondays come way to quickly. Oh, well, I guess only one more day, then it’s a day off with Independence Day around the corner.
