We had our visit with the vet and he states the “bump” on his near the incision is nothing to be concerned with.    He says Champs’ ear is swollen.  He said the incision looks good and that we should return in about 5-6 days to remove the sutures and the plastic stint.  I hope he is right, and the ear is only swollen.

First off, an update on helmet head.  I took the wrap off last night and cleaned it with soapy water and peroxide.  I didn’t want to put the wrap back on but he would not quit flipping his head around.  So I had to at least put it back on before bed because I didn’t want him digging it all night and irritating it.
