If you don't absolutely have to have a Samsung or your funds are limited Tigerdirect is selling 1080p 42" Vizio for $799. Both tiger and vizio have excellent customer service and a two year warranty from the manufacturer is only like $80. Just something to think about.

I saw this in the NY Times. It's a great time to be an American. I was a little bit surprised by the blacks; I figured at least 1 in 20 was in the slammer but the 1 in 15 and 1 in 9 was a little interesting and might explain certain stereotypes....

I don't have a lot of time to go into great detail due to the internet crackdown here at work, but I'd like to share a day of stupidity with you.

Yesterday morning I had to drive the wife into work at 6am.  We get all bundled up, get the baby bundled up and head out to the jeep.  I'm standing there waiting for the wife to open the door and she's waiting for me to open the door. 

Her: open the door, what are waiting for?
Me: why would I have the keys I have the diaper bag and baby?
Her: are you shitting me?
Me:  I shit you not

I feel like my day is half over already. Syd was up at 5am screaming so we had a lovely time for the 4 hours before I left for work. lovely.

I get motivated by the strangest things sometimes. I'll get this idea in my head and can't focus on anything else until I get it out of my system. This past weekend it was a tv stand. I can't stand the thought of blowing $200 on piece of furniture right now so I found a pic of a table/stand that I liked and built one in my basement.

The TV guy did come last night at around 8pm.  He popped the back off and replaced the power supply and now we're back in business.  Vizio actually sent a whole 'nother motherboard too just in case.  I wonder if that will show up on ebay under the TV guy's account...
