L3FTY Reviews "The Heart Break Kid"

Since I don't have internet at home right now and it's to cold to be outside it really limits my entertainment options.  I've gotten a chance to catch up on a few movies, one of which was the "The Heart Break Kid."

I'm hooked on a heartbeat

My wife works in cardiac rehab so she is all about numbers.  Heart rate, calories, lipids, blah blah blah.  Me on the other hand...when I work out I try to stay right at the threshold of throwing up or passing out, that's how I gauge the intensity of my workouts.  Well, earlier this week she convinced me to wear a heart rate monitor like this one to the gym.

By the Numbers

This might explain why I'm having trouble getting more wii's to ebay.  Here are the hardware sales for January '08.

1.  Wii           274,000
2.  PS3         269,000
3.  DS           251,000
4.  PSP        230,000
5.  360         220,000

Playstation brand continues to bring in the dough

The PlayStation brand was #1 in both hardware and software in January.
- The PlayStation brand sold more hardware units than Nintendo and Microsoft combined (764K versus 530K and 230K,
   respectively).

Anybody Here Missing A Shoe? (with a foot in it)

Have you guys seen the news about all the feet that are washing ashore in Vancouver lately? There have been 3 RIGHT feet that have washed up within the last year. The best part of the entire article is a quote by an oceanographer:

"Left foot wear and right foot wear often tend to wash up at different times at different places because they float differently," he said. "There are beaches that collect mostly rights and other beaches that collect mostly lefts. The winds of the currents sort out left and right foot wear."
