A Thank You

I am so pleased with my experiences with this site.  I just needed to say that.  I have met some very cool people.  I have made some good friends in just a short amount of time.  I've said some stupid things and people have overlooked it.  I've made some bonehead moves in game and you just laugh about it.  I've gotten to learn so much about the video game I love to play, including how to be better at it.  My f/l has gone from 13 to 91.  I have certainly met some interesting characters.  I am continually entertained by some of the posts in the forums as well as some of the things talked about i

The Problems an Older Gamer Faces

For me personally, video games have been a part of my life for somewhere in the neighborhood of 25 years.  From those early days of playing Lode Runner and Swashbuckler on the Apple IIe, to the current next gen consoles, to games like Crysis that bring even the most powerful of PC’s to their knees, it has been a long, winding, and eventful road.  Certain points in time stick out in my mind as I think about how video games have been, in some form or fashion, a part of my life for a quarter of a century.  Finally beating Swashbuckler, convincing my dad to get an Intellivision, a Ninte

What Goes Up...

Enough of the serious stuff for a little while...

With tomorrow being my birthday, I got to doing a little reminiscing last night as I tossed and turned trying to get to sleep.  To only be 32 years old I have certainly lived a full life.

Faith and Prayer

Ever since my first blog post, I have been debating as to whether or not to blog about today's topic. There are many reasons I have come up with as to why I shouldn't tell this story, but there are also many reasons as to why I should. It is a very personal story. But I am sharing my faith today, and thus, I will share this story.

A True History of Violence

Work is a little slow this week.  What a shock.  It seems like everyone but me took this entire week off.  You would think I would take this opportunity to get caught up on stuff.  I haven't seen my desk in months.  But alas,  I feel like being a slacker, and so I will slack.  And thus, you that may dare read this, will get a thorough explanation of my idiocy.
